Are there still IT people here that are certain that Bioware is just waiting to release the TRUE ending of ME?
I'm sure it will happen any day now...

What, like the whole game? Or... coma in london deal?
IT is lame. Trying to make a better ending through assumptions, but only to have it crash down right at the end. There's no ending for IT, and that is what I think IT fans don't see.
I think just after the London bit. I remember watching videos that were like an hour long explaining how it was all in his/her head and then having fans freak out at me saying "the true fans will be rewarded with the true ending" a few years back. Just wondering how that turned out for them and whether Bioware ever gave them their "true ending" where it was all a trick by the Reapers
"Was it all a dream?"
Sort of.

I wish.
Whether it is or not, I don't know.
Well, actually it was a story told by an old man to his great grandchild.
That reminds me of exactly this scenario:
"Was it all a dream?"
Sort of.
Shepard became a reaper. Yep shepards story is over and IT is redundant. ![]()

I think most of the IT crowd gave up on it or moved on ages ago.

Yep. The details have changed over time. How different was the story that was told to him?

Will I ever get to the stars?
One day, my sweet.
what will be there?
I can't believe I ever subscribed to that idea.
what will be there?
Ryncol and hot blue space babes.

I think it was a pretty valid interpretation in the immediate aftermath. The whole ending is disjointed enough that it comes off as surreal.
Anything after that is a little more iffy. I don't mind if that's the way people want to interpret it despite it's own holes; the troubling part nowadays is anyone still insisting it was intentional and BioWare are the most devilish of story crafters.

The Extended Cut said that Shepard and EDI were indoctrinated. You just had to read between the lines. As far as the Reapers go, the script I read states: Reapers dead, Shepard lives, Earth OK. So technically there was an end to the Reaper conflict. Just didn't happen as many expected.
I wonder if anyone has ever considered an ending mod for this very scenario? Would it even be possible to do?

It would not work well, because IT doesn't have a proper conclusion to the whole Reaper mess. Shepard wakes up in the London rubble and it ends there with no conclusion. It's basically worse than what we got originally. I've watched IT vids, and the end makes zero sense but most of the YT comments say that they are now IT believers after watching the vid. People couldn't be more stupid.

Anything you want
Tell me another story about THE Shepard
Its past your bedtime, but ok. One more story.

My alternative to that:
Old man: And every life is a special story of its own.
Child: Tell me another story about the Shepard.
Old man: It's getting late but maybe tomorrow.
Child: I want another story now!
Old man: Tough s***!
Some how after this length of time there is no true ending to ME3 unless Mass Effect 4: The Search for Shepard
