I don't know what's so bad about this they still look feminine and lovely.

Might cause tensions at the ceremony though and give people to funny looks but I think they are lovely

Meh.. Why can't people dress up like back in the good old days without having to show everything right from the get go? Sure it is their own business, but I don't quite understand these trends.

The second one actually looks fashionable, though that may just be favourable lighting. The rest look more like negligés, more fit for a wedding night than the actual wedding.

But eh, what do I know; I'm a socially awkward, unfashionable guy walking around in cheap clothes because they're comfy, no fashion sense at all.

It does seem a bit odd to wear something like that for a ceremony with all your family there.

Although you could wear it on the wedding night.

For like, 30 seconds before it's removed.

But eh, what do I know; I'm a socially awkward, unfashionable guy walking around in cheap clothes because they're comfy, no fashion sense at all.

In men's wedding fashions, there is only the tuxedo.

Just wait for some ambitious designer trying to challenge that notion. The next trend in men's wedding fashion will involve much less cloth. It's almost as if fashion designers are preparing for a cloth shortage. Maybe they know something we fashion-plebs don't.

It's all part of a secret plot to make us all shirtless.

Although given that these things usually go for "sexy" I'm not really sure what you'd do beyond removing the shirt.

Even then, a lot of women already find a man in a suit/tuxedo to be sexy.

They aren't. And if my hypothetical girlfriend chooses to buy/wear one of those, I'll shut her in a psychiatric prison.

The designs look nice enough but why on Earth would someone want to wear see-through clothing in public? Family, friends, relatives, coworkers, etc. I don't get the mindset.

High fashion is notorious to produce garments for VIPs, and none of these shows real sense of taste for every day in which you would wear this garbage.

Wedding Ceremonies are the biggest wastes of money that we hold onto for traditions sake. (Nothing wrong with people getting married, but ceremonies are overblown and stupid)

So with that in mind, people can buy whatever dresses they want. Since by my perspective, they're wasting money anyway.

That said, I would rather have a bride with see-thru clothing than have this as my wedding:

Well if you clicked on the large photo in the article it opens a gallery.  There was photos of celebrities like Beyonce in the same kind of dress but way out in public with nothing underneath, that you could see at least.   But people like her would do it for the attention I guess.

Some of those are nice. But I wouldn't wear them. Especially not with family there to see. Very awkward.

I'd rather wear nice, sexy lingerie on the wedding night just for my mans eyes to see.

So there actually is some common see-through formal wear in the Philippines; it's called the barong tagalog, and it's usually worn by dudes. Of course, you're wearing a dress shirt and everything underneath it, so it's obviously not the same.

Yeah, you wear a shirt of a similar colour (or just white) under it, so the only see-thru area is the part where it overlaps with your pants and possibly your arms.

Bit different to something like this:

You would really get married to your imaginary boyfriend? Sad.
