But the fashion industry likes them bones sticking out and ribs...

They like the women to look like sticks with no curves.

At least we have a bit of a trend now with the likes of Christina Hendricks and such.

I'd say America, since it's the uncontested reign of self-propelled lard-barrels. Mexico may have the same bad habits, but people have less food to get weight with.

Well it could be worse, they could start requiring the consummation of the marriage in front of family and friends as a new fad.

Far be it from me to tell someone else what to wear to their wedding, but like Mousestalker, I'm more traditional in my outlook. There's something to be said for leaving a little for the imagination...

Something you should ask yourself before wearing a see through wedding dress: Would you want your daughter to wear one someday? (ouch)

Let's not over look the fact that 99% of all brides lost their virtue and still wear white. Also the 1% or less that haven't are either religiously influenced into being crazy or getting married at 12.

People can wear whatever they want - and I'm a dude so perhaps not really qualified to say - but it seems to me that it would be pretty uncomfortable to wear want amounts to lingere in front of your grandparents.
