Why would you keep playing a game you don't enjoy? That makes no sense to me. There's so many titles fighting for our attention, so to even consider spending time and energy on something you don't enjoy, seems counter productive to me.
The OP writes this exact phrasing "I doubt I can wait 3 more months. I could hardly motivate myself to even play the weekend challenges the last 3 months.".
If that is the case, then leave and take a break? I understand wanting it NOWNOWNOWNOWNOW, but software development doesn't happen in that speed at this size.
Thats just me though, I guess YMMV.
I was under the impression you had more of an issue with him complaining/criticising. It's that right I was defending.
Well, in a vicious circle sort of way I suppose I also am, and thats because to me complaining about a video game that you don't even enjoy is not very productive, plus criticism is not a good feedback tool.
When I'm done with DAIMP, I'll not do a huge announcement some weeks before proclaiming my exit if things are not changed the way I want it, I'll just join the silent masses.

I think criticism works. I doubt we'd have the level of interaction we do now if there hadn't been any.
We'll have to agree to disagree.
I am of the opinion that the silence was imposed by LCA or marketing while they were working on both Jaws of Hakkon and the MP DLC. BSN Drama or no Drama.
All the drama got was members of the community perma-banned, and a small spike of activity that ever so slowly faded out (Except Blar's weekly stream, which while nice - was heavy regulated and not really what the most vocal people was asking for.) untill they were ready to go to town with us as the Dragonslayer DLC dropped.
agree with much here. it's taken a while to receive 2 DAIMP DLC. let's give them some time since we just received DS DLC. that said, I too would like to see new DLC sooner than later.
I wonder what "D" word the next Content will be titled.

My guess is July-August.
I think it's too early to be jumping down throats again. It's only been a week.
Look at you, the voice of reason and all.

I'm a very reasonable person, and nothing I said was untrue. The ball was dropped in a big way, but they are taking the right steps now.

It's just that I've come to count on you for the best biting snark.

Looooool. Only when it's deserved. Now definitely isn't the time.

That's actually not true. The mp dlc came about 7 months in on me3 also. I am almost positive but look it up.
ok ill wait while you look it up
I think a recent article on multiplayer DLC talks about 3 months + testing to design a multiplayer character,
so I'm be surprised if anything else emerges before September.
Multiplayer content could well alternate with single player content, so it would need to wait until after any
speculated Dwarven or Elfy SP content.
Conceptually the notion 'give me more content or I stop playing' rather misses the point,
as it would be pretty obsessive to expect to play endlessly being reinvigorated by new content,
as even with the best will, a DLC release schedule simply can't keep up.
There are other games, and DLC is more likely to bring people back periodically
than to sustain them from leaving.
I'm pretty much popping in only at the weekends now, but will continue to do that.
Speculating wildly, I could see another two MP DLCs at 4-5 monthly intervals, at which point we may be done,
though player activity and casual platinum purchase will likely dictate ultimately how long DAMP prevails.
At which point we may have a total of 21 classes, 5 or 6 maps, probably another enemy faction.
The first dlc was released Oct 9th 2012 and the initial game was march 2012 so yeah 7 months for dlc on me 3
The first MP DLC, Resurgence, for ME was released on April 10, 2012.

Sounds about right timeline wise.
Although, as I see it - they have untill Fable Legends and the release of Windows 10 to get a strong lineup. Once that game is out, DAIMP will have real competition in it's genre space.

Don't man, being reasonable is boring on BSN. I want you to be bitter and snarky.
