Yeah I have so much of the other items that cloth ends blocking crafting some of anything since it's used a lot. I have no idea why cloth seems to be so strained, maybe there are more items for leather and metals to be salvaged?

Dual wield and shields, swords, maces, great swords, axes, great axes, mauls, dagger, dual blade dagger, bows vs ....... Staff.

The inclusion of virtuoso could have added in the cloth production with instruments or hats in some way (cloth from a instrument sounds wrong). Hey I'm thankful it uses staff since I already had a collection of them, but it didn't help with cloth chances.

Cloth peasants....sniff!  So rude and unsightly.  I have my royal wiper wipe my bum with my excess silk cloth.  I use royal weave to clean out my dogs dog dish.  The gall of the lower class wanting my silks, is rough nug hide or druffalo leather not good enough for them?  Seems I must raise taxes yet again to get these thoughts of 'silk' out of their heads.

You give them cloth and they foolishly spend it on the songs of a mere tavern singer, then demand more. We are not responsible for the frivolous spending of the lower class!

Leather can be gotten from killing common critters.  Metal you can pick up endlessly off the ground.  Cloth only drops from human-type enemies that are much rarer.

I have to use iron to wipe my bum. The chafing, oh Maker, the chafing. Now I walk like my femquisitor.

Not in Multiplayer! :) Because the only crafting drops you get is via salvaging weapons, armor upgrades, runes & accessories.
Mage related items give cloth, and there is an obvious, ridiculous bottleneck here considering most have like 100+ metals & leather but only about 10-15 cloth.

Yeah, something really needs to be done about it. With rogue characters need 28ish cloth it's being darn greedy. I would be able to give it 300 metals in the place of that 28 cloth without blinking.

Yes please, more cloth. I have enough iron to solve the Nashkel iron crisis several times over. But barely enough cloth to wipe a sink.

Agreed. The amount of cloth we get from anything is too damn low, more so when compared to the amount of metal and leather we get from simply going about our business.

A bit ot but is there any plans to allow us to mod characters armour a bit more because that 70ish armour rating on the best purple armors currently really isn't doing anything. I mean it does not have to be ungodly op like 300 + in sp but getting armor to something like 120 - 150 especially if a higher difficulty comes in would probably help against all those arrows in open wave 5. Without having to grind cunning up to ridiculous levels.

I've heard the suggestion about a material chest being thrown around, sort of similar to the potions chest. Unless you could by materials directly I think this could be a nice way to go about it if every chest had at least some cloth, iron and leather.
