because the loot is crap. make the dragon call free if you want to keep the crappy loot.
Summoning a dragon is hardly worth it

Err... it's an awesome High Dragon fight you can take down with your friends and cheer after it fell. You might wanna get off the couch and start volunteering in community service then, by that logic.
For example, I only got crap loot off my latest Age of Ultron screening
...and I still enjoyed it.

"summoning the dragon" isn't worth it no, there is no benefit to using a dragon call what so ever, so unless you are playing with friends, and taking turns to use the hammer, then you'll have a hard time

Hmm,High dragon is sorry a$$ excuse for a boss, more likely punching bag to take down with group of strangers, who btw ****** you off,'cos they are cheap bastards, who never use dragon call.

Choosing different dragon then cold one is stupid.
As for the loot. It's "best in game weapons farm". I've had 2 dragon staffs, 2 1h sword and 2h sword. Around 25 perilous kills.

I got weapon on a routine dragon and gold on the threatening. Gold was less than I get for a nug though.

3 Dragon Staffs, 1 Dragon Maul, plus LBOTG, and another Dragon Staff out of room/schests.
Total Perilous missions for that haul completed I would guess about 12.
Prestige level 425
Works for me.

I'm beginning to think playing with a good friend who happens to like the world of Dragon Age as much as I do, is giving me an unfair advantage when it comes to appreciating things.
Then again I was taught a surprising lesson that people apparently buy this game with the intention to play its multiplayer in a strictly methodical and competetive fashion. It's not that I don't think they are allowed to, but rather that I always thought BioWare fans were the laughing stock of the competetive online gaming world.

On anything outside of perilous yes, calling dragon is pointless.
This is something of a problem, I've no desire whatsoever to use so many materials on Routine/Threatening.
I'd like it if Call were reduced to 3/1/3 or 3/2/3 cost, and required one for a Routine dragon, two for a Threatening dragon, and three for a Perilous dragon.

Out of curiosity, what percentage of games start out with the intention of a dragon fight?
#20
Posté 08 mai 2015 - 04:52
It should just cost 1 of each mat (or free or something),
as it is now, you can't make up the cost of the mats by the end of the match,
even if you get all the doors and fight the dragon and get loot, you're still losing more than you gain
(unless you're somehow lucky with a rare dragon loot, but too low of a chance still)

I've killed about 15 dragon, I still haven't gotten any dragon loot, but I'm not gonna give up on it yet.
My luck can't stay horrible forever. (I hope not anyways)

It won't. Try to kill Perilous dragons though. I've had 15-20 dragon kill streaks without loot before, but it is unlikely. Often after such a streak I may get 2-3 pieces within the next 10 games... but the point is the drop rate is low enough to go streaks without any loot, but high enough to go kill streaks gaining multiple pieces in a row. Whether you 'need' those pieces is another matter all together.
My main problem is: I DONT HAVE FRIENDS!

Obviously you know how to make friends. Go make more. Origin's friends list limit does suck though. Let's all communicate to EA and tell EA we want more.

I think calling the dragon should be free for threatening and routine. There, fixed.

Actually got decent loot from dragons yesterday. Got Virtuoso and Duelist armor (thank god I don't have to farm for the cloth) back to back which was great and some decent weapons. On threatening too, my gear stinks.
