Does anyone else have trouble with this?

It honestly could just be me because, a) I already have not so great eyesight, and b ) I'm on an old gen console, but I have a lot of trouble trying to read the white font on top of the grayed out war table or tarot card image. Most of the time I end up reading the mission description or codex entry on the wiki instead, because squinting at my screen only does so much.

Is there a way to make the font bigger? Or to control how dark the grayed out part is? Or maybe the next patch could have an option to temporarily hide the tarot card?

I know a later patch made the option to make the subtitle size bigger, not sure about all the text in the game though.

Sadly it seems to only effect the subtitles, and it's the war table that gives me the most trouble. :(

Thanks though.

On pc there is a text option and you might also consider different video settings.

I have to wear my glasses when playing DAI. Very rare that I need to wear them in daily life :/ I thought my eyesight was deteriorating but it turns out it is just the text thankfully.

Yes it's pretty bad. I don't usually play DAI on my couch, because of that, I usually sit beside my tv as close as possible. Probaply not healtiest choice, but war table texts are quite important.

Bioware should have just made all text large like subtitles after you can change them to large. The large in my eyes seems normal text-size. Though I still think there is something wrong with font, it's not easiest font to read.

Ok, I am very glad I'm not the only one. I was also starting to consider whether my eyesight was getting worse (again) or if there was something wrong with my screen.

I think I've fiddled with all available visual settings with the game, the console, and the tv itself by this point and unfortunately nothing seems to make much difference. I am glad to hear that there are more text options on pc though, it gives me hope that they might eventually extend that to other platforms.
