Ok so I've put a fair few hours into this game - 1802 on my 360 account - however yesterday had my best gold Solo ever

 

Started a game with a level 1 human adept carrying Harrier X with Incendary IV and a Shield III - was expecting others to join but set it to random map reapers thinking I might need to do the first few waves myself

 

Map was Giant Hazard and no one joined - so there was a lot of running and kiteing - objectives were 2 x Devices - these were fairly easy both times and a hack at the top of the map for wave 10 which cost me 2 missiles to push banshees away as I cowered by cover

 

Only managed 1 grab in the game as was trying to be careful

 

I've done a lot of solo runs but that was the most exhilarating - usual annoyance of banshees coming in pairs and dancing in front of each to regenerate barriers before I could take them down - apart from that it was a sweet run - no cheats no glitches just a very puffed adept who had now leveled to 9 at the end

I hate to be the one to mention it, but was one of you skill points in Warp? Because if so, a Harrier X with incendiary IV ammo will create a glitched damage output when combined with Warp

Well done OP, gold solo at lvl 1 isen't easy even with an OP gun like the Harrier, it's impressive!

Where did you spec your point?

 

I had 1 point in Singularity and 1 point in shockwave - shockwave seemed to do nothing at all except for hitting brutes - which made a biotic explosion effect but didn't seem to damage them - no surprise as my gear was extra ammo and a cyclonic modulator

 

For the video voyeurs - sorry this was on the 360 I don't have a way of recording that - and it wasn't intended to be a solo run there just sometimes aren't that many playing on the 360 now - getting a full pug can take ages in the foyer so most folks just go as solo or 2 players hoping others will join

 

Thanks for the cake - pity it wasn't in red, green and blue (oops) - white is perfect though

 

My 360 profile is under Jac Atax - so for anyone in doubt (which is fair enough) at least I have a lengthy record of play listed - clocking in at 4444 games since the HQ started - soon to be 4445 in a minute

 

I've had a lot of bad solos in the past on Giant getting grabbed by Banshees on wave 10 always felt bad - but this was just the sweetest run I've ever had - and this was the only place I could come where anyone would ever understand the moment of fist pumping and whooping I had when the shuttle arrived - even the unbelievers
