I wanted BioWare to make this thread or announcement or whatever you wish to call it, but it seems they have chosen to not address the community about this problem.

I sent an email to an anonymous BW employee last night about the problem of loot not dropping on these platforms, and they responded back to me.

Thank you for the response, I wish you guys would have addressed the community but thank you for responding to me personally.

I will not post the entire conversation or what was said word for word, or the employee I talked to for privacy reasons, but here is what I sent to them initially.

"Hello, I'm sure you've read in the forums by now, that many Playstation 3 and 4 players are reporting no loot from dragon kills.

Personally the problem is happening to me on perilous, i haven't received any loot at all from probably 75% of the dragons I've killed.

The dragons are not dropping any items at all. No commons, no blues, no dragon weapons, they just drop nothing.

This isn't just a couple of people reporting this, this has been reported by a multitude of players.

When do you think we will see some feedback on this issue."

There response back, was that they had found an error in the item distribution formula, and that a fix was implemented last night, with the round of buffs/debuffs that went through.

The good news is, dragons should be dropping loot for everyone now even if you play on ps3/ps4 systems.

The loot you should expect, straight from the BW employee from every dragon should be gold, + 1 piece of loot, + a chance for an additional piece of dragon loot.

The bad news is, a lot of us wasted a whole lot of mats/time the first 2 days on dragon calls/dragon kills and we never received loot for the kills.

The other bad part is, I gave BW every opportunity to come clean, apologize, address the community on this issue and they have chosen not to do so.

So a little bit of good news, and a little bit of bad, but at least we should expect loot from our dragon kills from here on out. If you kill a dragon after I make this post, and receive no loot (I will be testing as well) then the problem hasn't been fully fixed yet.

Too bad about the wasted Dragon Calls (I had a couple of dragons who didn't drop any loot) but I'm glad they took care of it so quickly. Just imagine if the problem had persisted over the weekend... the number of Playstations flung out of a window would probably be considered a health hazard.

This is an issue on PC as well.  <_<
I've decided not to craft any more Dragon Calls unless BW decides to fix this issue.

Cheers for pushing this.

The other bad news may be they've adjusted what drops, and reduced the Dragon weapon rate :(

I doubt it. 100% Dragon weapons means it wasn't the 1/10 chance.

They were probably getting all the dragon weapons the PS4/PS3 players were supposed to be getting but weren't.

I'm so glad I grounded out over 30 dragons on Perilous for nothing.... At least it's fixed. Thank you for the fast resolution.

And lo, first perilous dragon after the change and boom, staff of the dragon. Before, nothing.

I can confirm I'm getting drops now.

However a lot of wasted mats for us on the PlayStation platform.

Thanks for emailing bioware, op. I figured they stealth fixed it yesterday when every match I played where the dragon was defeated loot popped up, plus the extra gold received banner.

I'll give it a few more matches before I craft anymore dragon calls, though.
