Say hello to
*snip*
Labour advocates have short term memory spans as they all have conveniently forgotten that it was Labour who decided to go to war in Iraq and subsequently fucked the economy up.
Conservatives are **** too but less shittier.

Is that good for the UK? It would be gangbusters for America, but that's a pretty shoddy measuring stick. I had heard that there was a lot of ambivalence about this election among voters, so not sure if that reflected in the turnout or not.

Here's hoping that the new government governs well.
With that thin majority, they'll be lucky to get away without losing it to by-elections, or those crazy backbenchers wreaking havoc.
But... the alternative was the greatest leftward shift since before the Thatcher years. So, yeah. Politicians. Meh. Whoever you choose, they all exist to f*** you. The only difference is where and how they're going to f*** you.

It's slightly higher than 2010, but nowhere near 1992 and earlier, when they were regularly in the 70s.

I'd rather round them up and have them kill each other for their seats in public death matches. With cheese graters.

I could be down for naked MMA fights for power. I'd never watch them, but it would seem to be a very good way to pick the top politicians and to thin the herd.
Nah, that wouldn't work for me. If I'm going to let a bunch of mouth-breathers go to some stuffy old building to legislate a piece of paper that says they can f*** me sideways, I want to be entertained first.
And I certainly wouldn't want to see most of them naked.
