With those examples you are not "expecting" but you are forcing the others to either change their ways or to play the game on your own terms. I just want ot point out that with almost all kits there is an interaction between players that results in willing/unwilling adjustments, it is not unique to sabotage.
I'm not quite sure I'm explaining the distinction I'm trying to make very well... let's say I'm using a GE and there's a AA on the team; yes I may foul up their warp/throw combo as I've got full chain overload on the GE - unless I change kit or stay as far away from the AA as possible it's going to happen. The AA may decide to use throw twice to trigger both the tech burst and biotic explosion, they might not... either way, its absolutely fine, it's up to them what they do.
Now, more like the sabotage situation we're talking about, lets say I'm using a Justicar and there's an AA on the team - should I expect the AA to use warp or throw to detonate my reaves? Should I come on BSN and complain about idiotic PuGs not detonating my primed targets? It's not up to me to dictate that the AA should have been detonating my targets is it? Again, it's up to them what they do.
I hope that at least explains where I'm coming from.
I appreciate it but its obvious they don't want to pay attention to what they are responding to. I've already stated I'm not hacking enemies directly in front of them (In which case firing on it would be more understandable) but that I'm targeting units in the back, and then i see people ignoring all the enemies in front of them, to target the hacked unit in the back, which is just idiotic.
You're expecting random people, who you've no experience with and not necessarily even any synergy (by the very nature of Pick Up Groups), not to shoot an easy target, and hacked units are easy targets, irrespective as to how far away it is... that's a little, well, let's say naïve, don't you think?
