Are "Best of", "Essential", "Top x" etc. kind of albums allowed?

Maybe one of the best pop albums ever.
I'll add more albums later.

Remains one of my all-time favorites.

3rd best U2 album.

Listen and decide for yourself.

one of the best thrash metal albums in this century so far. if you like metal: listen to it^^

Weird, I don't think I've ever heard of them before and I like that genre of music. Just listened/watched to a few youtubes as a result of your post.

These Euro-pops (mostly from Germany and Sweden) might not be very famous in UK and USA. Like Ace of Base and Modern Talking.

Eric Clapton - Blues (1999)
Just so many good and cool blues songs.
Also

Metacritic score: 87/100
She's the real queen of Country music right now.

I know ace of bass but not the other one.
These are just albums I've been listening to a lot lately. But all are good.
I feel like if any are underrated it would be Death - For The Whole World To See. A great, great rock/proto-punk album.
And The Knife - The Knife. I don't know if it's underrated, but considering it's the album that sparked my obsession with this power duo I recommend it highly IMO. Especially if you enjoy synth, tech, and a touch of dream pop with the interesting and oddly infatuating vocals of Karen Dreijer Anderson.

The Knife - The Knife

Run The Jewels - Run The Jewels 2

Joy Division - Closer

Oh, there are many albums I love from various artists -- Here are some that stick out from me at the top of my head.
One of the greatest prog-space-rock-albums where I even own a shirt with the album cover
Muse - Origin of Symmtry

Favorite LP from Radiohead -- The Bends

Discovery -- Best record from Daft Punk

Mikael Simpson, Jørgen Leth & Frithjof Toksvig - Ikke Eurofoisk (soothing music for relaxation in depressing or contemplating times, as philosoph, film & documentary maker Jørgen Leth is philosophizing of the obstacles that life brings)

Jeff Buckley's Grace (Only one actual studio record from this musicianAb -- such a shame too because it's amazing)

The Beatles - Abbey Road (But of course this record is here too)

Depeche Mode's Violator (Classics like Enjoy the Silence & Personal Jesus)

Portishead - Dummy (Trip-hop at its best; Beth Gibbons & co. defined the whole genre)

David Bowie's The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars (A tale of social commentary & sexual exploration in best 70s glam rock-style)

That's my favorite of their albums.
Bodysnatchers is probably my favorite track.
