Everyone in my friends list has different names for enemies, abilities, kits and combos, because they're funnier or interesting, or more recognizeable. I want to know all yours. I'm particularly interested what devs called the abilities and kits they worked on before they all got renamed by writers.

 

A few of mine:

 

Whirlwind, RTC commander's WW, Flashing Steel and Payback strike are Spin-to-win!

Elemental Mines: Skittles

Wrath of Heaven / Spell Purge: Wombo combo

Throwing knives: Batarangs

I'm sure I'm forgetting a ton, but the two that immediately come to mind from my group is:

 

Demon Commander = Butt Demon

 

Elemental Mines = JELLYBEANS!!! (caps and exclamation points included to give the correct emphasis in saying the word)

A subset of this, very specific, is when an Alchemist falls, but an enemy steps on a jellybean and activates the heal-on-kill/heal-on-hit factor and revives the Alchemist, that was THE JELLYBEAN OF LIFE!

Brute attacking in circles = temper tantrum

Archers evade shot = Twinkle toes

how i call, or mostly what i say when i am using the Skills(channeling), those who play with me should have heard some of them on Mic (with their references):

 

Counterstrike - Come At Me Bros!

Chain Lightning - Lightning Storm (Storm's Marvel vs. Capcom)

Fire Storm - Dame Tu Fuerza Pegaso (Pegasus Ryuseiken  Saint Seiya)

Pull of The Abys - Be One With Yuri (Red Alert 2)

Stone Fist - Falcon Punch (well... you know)

Long Shot - No one escapes (Jarmen Kell - C&C Generals) 

Walking Bomb - I lost the Bomb, do you have it? (Crazy Ivan Red Alert 2)

Might of Heaven - Greatest Caution (Radamantis Saint Seiya)

 

There are more but i just cant remember right now, these are the chars i use more.
