I decided to replay NWN2, so I re-bought the game on GOG and installed it, but also wanted to play the game with some custom content, mainly some version of Kaedrins PrC Pack, so I downloaded Combined Works v1.4.2. I followed the installation instructions, placing the mod files in the override folder and placing the dialog.tlk file in the game directory; but when I boot up the game and try to make a character I notice over half of the PRC content is missing or not functioning properly: only a few of the new classes are present, for example the Hexblade and Swiftblade are missing; the new races and backgrounds have slots but are essentially blank spaces with no text or animation; and I am pretty sure none of the new feats are present. The first thing I try is uninstalling the mod and then reinstalling it from scratch, but i have the same problem. I think perhaps it's just a problem with this mod, so I uninstall the mod and try a different version Combined PrCs, Feats, and Spells v1.28, I boot the game and still content is missing, just different content, for example now the Swiftblade is present, but other classes are missing, and the new races still are blank. Now I decide to try a completely different mod, Base & Prestige Classes Pack 1.26b, I install, boot the game, and most of the content is missing, specifically only the Blood Magus appears. So now it appears I just have a problem getting any mods to function. Does anyone have any advice on what going wrong or how to fix the problem? Thanks in advance.

Do you have anything in your override folder that might conflict?

Nothing is in it except the Mod Files, and i make sure to clear the override folder before trying to install a different mod.

Dunno, but it sure sounds like a conflict. Ever since he got piqued over BG, I've stay well away from his content. Sorry.

"placing the dialog.tlk file in the game directory"
What directory, specifically? The dialog.tlk overrides normally go in the my documnets\nwn2 folder, not the game install directory.

I did place it the NWN2 directory in the my documents folder, thats not the problem.
Also if it makes a difference I'm using windows 7.

For some mods you may need to replace the game's original .tlk file in the C: directory.

I tried a third version of the Mod and now it seems to be working.
