Who would it be and why?

 

Personally, I'd have to go with Korbin as he's a direct opposite of all the other Dwarf Companions we've had so far.

All three of them have a good sense of humor (dirty for some, fatalistic for others), whereas Korbin doesn't seem to have much of a humor at all. He's humble and somber compared to the others; there's a dignity in how he talks you just don't find in the other dwarf companions. He was never disgraced by any actions, and was known amongst the Warrior Caste before he voluntarily joined the Legion. He also seems awed with the surface world, and shows reluctance with the thought of returning back underground once everything's over. He's featured in the single player War Table missions the College of Magi and the Arl of Redcliffe. He's described as Level-headed and having sound Judgement (which surprises Cullen. . .because he probably thinks all Dwarven Warriors are like Ohgren, the jerk.) in the former. The later doesn't reveal much of note about him though, barring that he's formal and official in his writings. . .nothing new there, I'd assume.

. . .Also I like his muttonchops, they amuse me. Fix his bad case of Pink Eye though, that's just sad. ;_;

Ohh, fun! Surprisingly enough I think many of them are interesting enough to have been companions - not bad for characters made for a quite simple multiplayer dungeon crawl. I think Rion is a really fun character, cheeky and a bit of a smartass. Him and Belinda are a riot together, and his banter cracks me up. "This one said something about your mother! ALL your mothers!"

For fun though, I think Luka.  Love her sense of humor, adventurous side (mushrooms!!), and I could pretend to be Philip and see what's what.

Rion, so I get to see Vivienne verbally head-slapping him when he gets uppity, and him firing back... there would be some fire there!

Luka and Rion are my two picks. So much potential, there. I can just imagine Solas trying to explain something, but it blows up behind him and the two are just like "... sorry!" and running away, before it shows a flashback of Luka saying she can make bigger explosions than Rion and him rising to the challenge.

 

The rest are actually a little boring to me, personally. Their interactions can be funny at times, but Luka and Rion are the two that are positively teeming with personality and potential.

 

And of course, honorable mention to everyone's favorite Virtuoso, who seems comical but I have not spent much time with.

...really though? I'd like to just take all of the Multiplayer characters as full-fledged companions, if only to hear multi-part dialogue exchanges between the two.

. . .especially about the ham. I want to hear an extended discussion about the Nug Loaf.

That snotty ally of the Inquisition you have to rescue. He'd have two attacks, Basic Shot which does 100% bow damage and Condescending Sneer which works as a taunt on everyone in the vicinity, both on enemies and party members. His banter would be deep and insightful comments on how worthless the "menials" that surround him are at placing themselves between him and enemy arrows.

There is no way around it. Isabella *is* the right answer to your question. 

 

Otherwise, if I had to pick three I'd say:

 

1. Korbin - as you said, he is level-headed and seems really really nice. I always love how polite he is to other companions and he has that silent honourable warrior feeling around him. I'd love to be able to learn more about him!

 

2. Sidony - I really love playing the Necromancer, and it's mostly because of her. Her acerbic treatment of her teammates is perpetually entertaining. I also like how she is really proud of her magic (contrary to a lot of repressed mages in Thedas, be it as it may that it's not their fault) and that she seems to be interested in the pursuit of knowledge. 

 

3. Cillian - he also sounds super nice and level-headed. I feel like he would have some interesting stories to tell from his time learning to be an arcane warrior.

 

Also, I am really interested about what THAT HAM WE HAD AT CAMP really is.

If I had to pick one vanilla character from each class, it would be:

Korbin, see OP.

- And Sidony just for how different her attitude is (she IS from Tevinter, and not exactly as 'modest' as Dorian is.)
