If I had to pick one vanilla character from each class, it would be:

Korbin, see OP.

-Thornton for that reason you've given.

- And Sidony just for how different her attitude is (she IS from Tevinter, and not exactly as 'modest' as Dorian is.)

I'm not sure if she's originally from there but she was raised and trained by the Mortalitasi in Nevarra actually. Which makes her EVEN COOLER!!

I'd choose...
Sidony - unapologetic, bad ass, cold
Hall - shy, awkward companions are great
Luka - BOOM! 'Nuff said

That said, I wouldn't argue against Thornton and Rion romance options >.>

Then again, I like him so much because he's almost exactly like my hero I create in any customizable enough RPG for 20 years (see avatar). Not sharing that stage! Still I thank BioWare/Sheryl Chee/Awesome costume designer dude/gal for creating an awesome black character whose personality isn't being a black guy.

Srly, just get that dude drunk and you will have a lot of fun, the sensation of all parties, he will tell jokes like:
