I loved how in DAI they brought back Hawke to help your charater for a certain part of the game; as well as the option to customize Hawke to fit your preferences, diplomatic, sarcastic, aggressive personality etc. I'm wondering if they will do something similar with "The Hero of Ferelden" or the "Orlesian Warden" depending on events during Origins. Personally I always keep my Warden alive cause I can't stand the idea of losing him, considering all the time and effort I put into him and his story. But as I was playing the part of the game that Hawke assists you and wondered if "The Warden" would get similar treatment. I would want to customize my Warden, have him help out the Inquistion for certain quests, do banter with you and your companions and reunite with their love interest. For example: My Warden arrives in Skyhold, sees Leliana across the courtyard, she sees him and they both run towards each other and lovingly embrace, but that's just me. I feel it add more depth and progress to the game. I'm a little scared that they won't do anything with "The Warden" or they might decide to kill him/her off, I didn't make my warden so that he would die later on. I feel that other players should have the ability to see their Warden again know that their alright.

I sincerely hope the people at Bioware see this post and address it.

Addressing two things you said:

You can get a War Table mission to contact the Warden; it reveals what he or she is up to. He/she is not dead.

The developers have said that it's unlikely we'll see the Warden in person again.

Everyone dies "later on." You, me, and all our Wardens.

This is good info for the poster to know, whereas

this is pointlessly rude.

I feel for you, I really do. I'd love to see/play as the Warden again. I wish people would lay off with the pointless bashing of your sincere effort to voice your opinion and post a valid suggestion for the future. It's not a troll thread people, why can't you just be nice, and if not, ignore the thread? It really bugs me that people who want to see the Warden again (which is, you know, allowed) can't get a good thread going because so many people come in with pointlessly mean posts. Then the people who want to see the Warden again have to make new threads, and the cycle repeats.

I feel that what you used as an example should have been in the game like if you reunite Morrigan with the Warden she did the ritual with, and they meet their son. Your male Warden will never get that chance, but the others do. It should have been in the game so now that your Warden is gone for good it seems, we could have felt a more complete end for them instead of a small codex entry that keeps you wondering.

The Warden is far too variable in comparison to Hawke to show up in a future story. Even then Hawke had his/her problems of portrayal in Inquisition, and a lot of people were not happy with how their imported Hawke varied from their actual Hawke. The Inquisitor and the Warden will likely only appear in the background in future titles.

Also, there's that awkward bit where the Warden doesn't even have a voice. And if you distrusted Morrigan, he/she is probably dead.

I hope not. They already turned Hawke into a person that doesn't resemble my Hawke at all, and the Warden would be even harder since they were a silent protagonist and can be dead.

The War Table mission with the letter is probably all we'll see with the Warden. Sorry.

Lol the Warden has too many voices actually, so that would be time consuming. Best to have had the British VA's for the male and female Inquisitor's do all the types of Warden's you could be, or nuke it and just make them barely have a personality connected to your PT like what happened to Hawke. At least we hear Zevran's VA lots of times in DAI.

It should be obvious that Bioware wants nothing to do with Dragon Age Origins. DAO was heart & soul, DA2 & DAI were about da money.

Well, I don't think hope will serve the OP particularly well at this point. Far better to lose all hope for this now and be done with it. Though, honestly, I was just pointing out that the OP's figure of speech there was a bit odd. Most RPG characters die off camera, eventually. They're the lucky ones, since the alternative is to be killed outright during the game.

I agree that would be a nice touch, but Bioware has a habit of wedging themselves into a corner.  If your warden was a healer with a multitude of spells like so many others, someone decided no healing, so no warden!  The old warden poses so many conflicts, sad only a footnote to his existence.

I'm not saying being hopeful is a good idea (I learn that lesson over and over), I just think people are unnecessarily rude about a simple opinion. I mean, Bioware has said they don't want it to happen, so I'm not hopeful, just disappointed. My main gripe is simply that they brought back the Warden in a very important, potentially world-shaking plot-line. I think it would be really weird if they left that hanging, which makes it odd to bother including our Warden in it.

They could either have had the Calling plot-line never involve the Warden to begin with, or have what they were doing remain vague (even if you get a letter). I don't know why they chose to do it this way.

I would love to see my warden again, Bioware have said the warden has to many choices to account for? umm  you managed it with Hawke all we need transferd over is who the warden romanced are they king/queen of England?...oops I mean Ferelden? what race class are they and gender.

that's all the warden needs she dose not even have to speak heck I would be happy seeing her dog only and have a letter attached to his collar I want to hear that my warden is back with there li

I don't care if people bash me for this, it shows how immature people are who hate on other peoples opinions

There is no information about the Orlesian Warden-Commander(Awakening) in DAI if the Hero of Ferelden is dead.
A little information would be nice considering the Orlesian Grey Wardens are involved in DAI.

Bringing the warden into DA:I would add a ton of work. The game itself doesn't even support the Warden in any way. Dual-wielding warriors is out, as are all the weapon combinations and the armours being available for every class. Not to mention the specs the Warden had. Or the spells he had. Fireballs, healing spells, the works. If the warden showed up in DA:I, given the simplified character design, it would not be the warden you had in DA:O at all. Not by a long shot.

Well, I see three possibilities there.

1. Nothing's gonna happen. The Warden's looking for something that doesn't exist, and it's just a way to get rid of the Warden.
2. It's a DLC hook. The Warden's going to discover something that the Inquisitor will handle. The Warden will almost certainly be killed off for real in the course of this.
3. It's a sequel hook. As above, but with a new PC.

The more important this turns out to be, the more likely 3 becomes. But I'm betting 1, because I'm not at all sure that Bio wants anything to come of this.

Thank you for your kind words. All I wanted was to suggest what I feel would be a great idea to add to the game. It's a valid and fair idea, why should only Hawke appear and "The Warden" should not? Yeah the Warden's story is over but so is Hawke's, that doesn't mean their not important to Thedas and it's survival.

Exactly, I felt my Warden didn't really get any closure such as reuniting with their love interest and seeing his child. I'm not saying they have to be in the game very long but long enough to get closure and maybe help out the Inquistion for a certain mission like Hawke did.

why not have him fight off screen then like Hawke did at one point you can ask the warden to go help your troops
