I've previously suggested using macros to make an autosprint button.
For starters, you need a minimum of 0.1 seconds for a delay when holding a button down, or it won't always register in DAI. So:
4 (press)
0.1 seconds
4 (release)
Will play the selected song once.
For spamming songs, the safest minimum delay between songs is 0.7 seconds. With 0.7 seconds between each, you can play four songs consecutively. After four, your mana will be depleted. As near as I can tell, all songs cost the same amount of mana. At least the starting three do.
There is a forgiveness factor that lets you press the button before it is ready and it will queue, but with too short of a delay, you will push beyond that forgiveness factor after three songs and the fourth will fail. For three songs, you can go as short as 0.55 seconds between each.
For selecting chords, you need to use all 0.1 second delays. Press, 0.1 seconds, release, 0.1 seconds, press, and so on to select all three chords.
To play continuously without running out of mana, it looks like it takes exactly 4 seconds for mana to regen for one song.
Notes:
Songs last for 8 seconds by default and 12 seconds with the Long Solo passive.
The Opening Set passive generates 4% mana with every basic attack.
The Feel the Crowd passive boosts mana regeneration by 50% when within 5 meters of an ally.
The Combat Clarity passive boosts mana regeneration by 50% when within 5 meters of an enemy.
