Edit: technically, I have done it as well. But it was a DC only solo with the huntress where predator was never used.

The dps on the Predator is quite good, just that it runs out of ammo really fast plus requires a very high fire tapping rate. Would do it with an auto-fire controller.

I attempted it several times with the GI but my trigger finger kept going numb. Sometimes I just quit cuz I couldn't shoot anymore ...

A modded controller would've helped a lot though

I was never crazy enough or badass enough to try a solo with it but I tried it in a gold PUG game with a GI and man, I know exactly what you are talking about

I pugged with it too but only if I had at least 1 good friend with me. I pugged platinum with it once with all randoms and it was a nightmare. My trigger finger joint was sore for days.

Predator isn't bad if you have a modded controller or can take the pain of firing it quick enough.

Speaking of weapon solos, ex-Clusum has solo'd platinum with every single weapon in the game.

The closest I've ever gotten to this was a Predator-only match with some friends on Gold. It was pretty rough. I can't imagine a Predator-only Platinum, let alone a solo.

... but... uh... see, I kinda suck? I can't solo Platinum with a weapon that DOESN'T cramp me up, sooo....

 

I've tried a few times. Made it to wave 9, I think? But I just get too tense and can't take it very well past like... wave 4.

Solos with crap guns are massively irritating unless you go with a power class.

Can you even imagine how excruciating it must have been to actually do it? 80 minutes of that?
