What's a snip? O.o

 

It used to be snigs and snails. A snig in Cumbrian dialect was a word for a small eel.

 

It is a kind of thing people do when they want to delete a quote or picture that may offend children but they still want to slap the original poster by inferring something out of context at a level that people who have to ask what a snip is will not understand. You find it use a lot when talking about boys in an evolutionary manner.
