I was able to play through a good portion (at least I think it's a good portion) of the game without it freezing. I've gotten all but 4 of my teammates and done all their loyalty missions, and have dealt with the attack on the 2nd colony. I started running into problems during the mission to get Thane. All of a sudden I started getting full system freezes with wierd graphics glitches all over the place on the screen. Every time it's happened I've had to restart my X-box.



Haven't tried playing other games yet, but it seems with this many other people having the same problem that it's likely the game. I noted that it didn't start happening until I had been playing for several hours though, and the longer I played the more frequent the crashes became until I couldn't even load a game without it crashing. I would say that it's overheating except I do have an intercooler for my system. Gonna let the thing rest for tonight and play more tomorrow and see what happens.

The game has never frozen for me one time on several playthroughs.

HOWEVER...

The character customization at the beginning has like a 50% chance of freezing for me, I swear. I cannot even count the number of times I have had to let the game sit through all the unskippable cinematics at the beginning in order to change the looks of my Shepard.
