The Demon Butcher challenge didn't seem to register with the Inquisition HQ and the leaderboards again.  While I have it completed (and received the chest), the 5 points only show up on the local prestige value.  The leaderboards and HQ has me at 5 less.  Given these problems have been fixed before, and also since I don't know if anyone else is having this issue, just mentioning it so something can be done.  No rush, I'm far away from 100 anyway.  Thanks.

Yes, I'm encountering this on PS4, as well as a friend of mine, Suledin. I got 5 points from the agent goal, put me at 444 prestige points in upper right corner, but leaderboard shows me at 439.

I tweeted a screenshot to Billy Buskell last night and he said they're investigating it.

I am having a similar issue, but my prestige on the leader board is higher than what the game says that I should have. I can't tell which should be right since it got out of whack on the day the daily challenges were first released and broke everything to hell.

I was under the impression your Prestige should be: Challenge points + promotions = Prestige

 

But the problem is, it doesn't match my top right corner score or my leaderboard score. And the top right corner score and the leaderboard score don't match with each other either...

 

So there I have 3 stats that should all give the same number but none of them agree on which one it should be?!?!?!?

 

What I know is that my Challenge points and promotions are correctly calculated. Which means that with 2 good numbers, someone found a way to not add them correctly

 

Investigation aside, a simple SQL script that updates your Prestige to the sum of both (challenge points and promotions) should solve everything. It shouldn't require days of investigation, just run the script and check the process that adds those 2 numbers, no need to go all Sherlock on it...

 

P.S. Of course I removed the first 10 Con/Wil/Cun before making my calculus.

For me it's about the principle, if you do something then do it right or don't do it at all. Prestige doesn't work, either remove it or fix it. Call it a professional bias, but it's frustrating when you know all they had to do was to take 5 minutes to actually test their damn code so the bug wouldn't affect thousands of users... Testing seems to be an afterthought for some programmers, I would fire them all if I could.

I think it might also be considered an extension of your stats. If you're an RPG fan, you're more likely to want your stats to be as big as they can. Some people will use that stat to show how good they are (which is not a good indicator, it just shows how much they played and how much variety they like), others will simply use it to put a number on their progress.

In any case, arguing for or against Prestige is pointless. It's there, just make it work.

Because it is a tangible measured goal.  By this point in time of an mp game, especially one as full of crashes and such as this one a lot of people would have moved on because people are wired not only to the fun factor of a game but to goals that they can see, even if the importance is over blown.

 

I know my mind is wired that way, I need a tangible goal to keep playing, even if it is not that meaningful in the grand scheme of things.

So this is an issue from July and it's happening again.
I am 7 points adrift and it is annoying if you are challenging your friends on the leader board.
I don't know if it's a Cloud storage sync problem, but my numbers not matching is doing a number on me!
Can someone at least take a look at it please?

a buddy and I are real close on   prestige but he has more in stats than I because he stopped and I continued

I hit 60 points of weekly events which he didnt  so he has 60 more promotes  I would happily give up the weekly challenge points

TmsnEtlove and Popoty777 were there when I migrated over. Popoty sent me my first PS4 friend request . The other two no clue
