I could use some tips on how to spec them effectively for Gold. Mainly everyone except the Ghost. I prefer the basic turians but I want to give the others a chance as well and I just can't seem to get it right.

Will be away for a while so won't be able to reply so I'm just saying thanks in advance now and hope to find some tips on here when I get back. :)

Personally, I play the havoc just like a vanguard, using havoc strike to close in/ boost weapon damage, and stim packs to stay in the game. Rocking a hurricane to keep the cooldowns low. Of course, I have my hurricane maxed out, sooooo... I'm assuming for others, this could be... #unmaxedmanifestproblems?

As for the Saboteur, the popular build is to skip Turret and go Tech Vulnerability and Grenade Capacity, but IMO, the Turret is too useful when specced for Rockets (It won't go around killstreaking, but if you leave it to watch your back as you move elsewhere, it'll easily rack up 5-10 kills per late game wave on Gold,) so I take points out of Fitness, running 6/6/6/6/0 and using Gear/Consumables to get my shields over the 990 mark.

Turian Havoc - Skip Cryo Blast

Why would you do that? It's not like these guys are wanting for shields making a fitness-less build more of a thing vs. plenty of other kits. Not to mention it's kind of fun to ram headfirst into a group of frosty enemies with him.

These are the builds I use personally:

Havoc: http://kalence.drupa...24W53364!9D.AGO

Havoc plays like a Vanguard, just charge in and blow your enemy's head off with your weapon of choice. Havoc Strike cooldown doesn't actually matter too much because you have stim packs and the animation takes a few seconds to play out. Incendiary ammo lets you create fire explosions if you shoot first then HS.

There's also melee-oriented builds, Cryo builds, and HS-less weapons platforms. Skipping fitness is also viable because of the stims, though I personally dislike 0 fitness builds.

Saboteur: http://kalence.drupa...!34W53364!F30AC

This Sabturian is weapons-based, using powers to supplement your weapon of choice. Sabotage allows you to stagger most non-boss organics to line up headshots, and occasionally kill annoying Cerberus Engineers with their own turrets. Turret intermittently stuns things with the rank 4 shock, and can distract or kill mooks. Homing nades are good against armored bosses and Dragoons and detonate your own fire explosions when combined with Incendiary ammo. I carry an Acolyte to deal with Phantoms and boss shields.

You can also max out sabotage, go for a more power-based build, opt out of the turret, or be a hipster and go melee (sabotage rank 6 boosts your heavy melee damage). 0 fitness can work here too.

Edit: I forgot to add that you can 'hide' weapon reloads with Armiger turians by dodging (or HSing for the Havoc, as seen in the video) right as your weapon runs out of ammo. It takes a few tries to get it right, but it's great for fighting multiple enemies or bosses.

Also, I haven't tried all these builds, so I'm sure a few can be fine-tuned, especially regarding passives.

I spent way too long on this post.

Try this. Claymore works well too, but the cooldowns become a little on the slow side.

But Sexbot is better, 'cause more a** and hip movements. She's good with those shotguns, and she'll unload it in enemy faces.

I highly approve this build other then the lack of headshot bonus. (why do you pick powerdamage? IMO this build benefits from headshots quite lot) Wraith is my favourite weapon on the Havoc, atm, but as said Claymore is an excellent choice too. Also, I would use HVB instead of shredder mod.

Saboteur, I go 6/4/6/6/4. I like all 6 ranks in Havoc Strike because that's the entire point of the character. Also all 6 ranks in Cryo Blast because it's an excellent stagger and debuff power.

http://kalence.drupa...!23N53314!95G95

4 ranks in Fitness gives you 1,050 shields; throw on a Cyclonic and it's even better.

4 ranks in Stim Packs gives you 2 emergency heals that instantly gives you 1,680 shields, cancels DOT, etc.

I use the Wraith shotgun on him for reasonable punch and reasonable cooldown.

Also if you wanted more Stim Packs you could use Grenade Gear or Shock Trooper instead of Geth Scanner.

= = =

Saboteur, I've recently been convinced to go 0 Fitness. You do need Cyclonics to give reasonable shields.

http://kalence.drupa...!!23N53364!0E09

If you can't deal with 0 Fitness, then put only 4 ranks in Turret and that frees up 4 ranks Fitness.

I feel like headshots from the Wraith already kill all mooks, but you could be right  Also, I don't take the HVB, because it makes weapons look ugly. I handicap myself in a lot of ways like that  :)

I like the Lancer on em, but it's pretty bloody noticeable if the stability is working.

Or not... <_<

As for builds I never did settle on any one specific as better or worse. Last one I played IIRC was the Saboteur. 6/6/6/4/4

Well, they do if you land all the pellets. But that headshot bonus helps you getting OHK from further away/not aiming perfectly. It's not bad...

Glorious Turian Thread!

Recommended Build for Glorious Fat Turian Havoc, plus color him yellow and black like a bumblebee

Skipping cyro blast is silly, you don't need to sacrifice an excellent debuff with a low recharge for all that fitness when you have stimpaks. At the same time, I've never found a point in maxing stims, fitness can be helpful in some situations, and this build is intended for gold and plat alike, on plat getting hit by DOTshit is rampant and a bit of extra fitness provides a buffer for when you don't want to waste a stimpak.

Generally I use cyro blast, shoot a few times, then Havoc Strike all the things until the things are dead! There's kind of a rhythm to it but the most important step is to kill things

With the disclaimer that I hate posting my stupid gameplay videos anywhere except the solo threads especially since a lot of solo videos are more about soloing than about playing any specific kit, here's some BumbleBeeTurian Stories on Platinum:

Super Tryhard Havoc with Venom

Lolcolyte and Havoc Strike

GraalHavoc (this one is old and bad but why not)

---

Glorious Turian Saboteur

Three builds:

Sick Turiansnipes Saboteur  - Black Widow and Valiant are also good choices

Saber  - you can go hipster and use the Argus, the Valkyrie, or even the Mattock if it so pleases you. Or you can walk on the dark side and use Arc Pistol.

LolHomingGrenades - They are better than you think

Shoot things, sabotage, homing grenade, then shoot shoot shoot some moar until stuff dies. Glorious Turian passives.

Some Gameplay Videos, caveat emptor.

Bad Sniping (UUG with randoms)

SaberSaboTurian gold solo

OnlyUseMeHomingGrenade plat tryhard solo

---

The Ghost is that turian that usually sits at home in the timeout corner while the other turians are out doing stuff. My only recommendation is don't skip Overload because that is silly.
