Cassandra will put you in a dilemma since she can become divine. If she becomes divine, it's safe to assume that the relationship between your inquisitor and her will end. If you choose Cassandra, and you don't want her to be divine, try supporting Vivienne or Leliana and try not to indulge in conversations with Cassandra about her potentially becoming divine.

Josephine is a lighter romance than Cassandra's if that makes any difference for you.

I like Josie because hers is a longer process, and the end result is better to me
I mean animated ****** are great and all but you get some good facial reactions from the *spoilers* duel wit Lord Ortranto 
And with how often my Warrior-Templar supports the freedom of Mages I get a lot of disapproval from Cass, luckily you can get some good gains in the cutscene like convos, along with her unfinished buissness quest, and the trip to Caer Oswin. So the disapprovals aren't as bad. 

Honestly its up to personal tastes, and the type of character you play.

Are you looking for a chance at love beyond all the challenges you'll face? Cassandra

It's so refreshing to see a post like this, after all those "women in DAI are ugly" and "romances for straight males are bad" threads. 

 

My answer is: Romance Cassandra on this character and create another one for Josephine.

Well the women in dragon age I are not that bad I remember play mass effect for the first time and see liara and ashley For the first time and I had a hard time choosing who to romance
