This. 4chan just talks a lot of stupid nonsense. Tumblr has people who send knives in the mail to other people with notes telling them to kill themselves because they don't like something they said.

I was speaking more in literal terms. Being a normal human whose comfortable with their body gets you all the **** for all your "privilege". Meanwhile you got people claiming to be Animals, Plants, Mythological Creatures, Rocks, Fictional Characters, and not just doing it as a roleplay but legitimately thinking they're that, getting accolades and praise for being brave enough to not identify as a human being.

 

Then you get into the abuse of terms like genocide, rape, oppression, and it all sort of piles up to being a place that is, legitimately and literally hostile to humans.

This too, yeah. The day I learned what the term "headmate" meant was the day I irrevocably lost faith in a portion of humanity. It disgusts me to see someone say they're an otherkin or whatever, and say idiotic nonsense like "lol Loki lives in my head and he's a really cool guy", when real people suffer real illness. Hearing voices isn't something that one makes light of and pretends is awesome and fun, it's schizophrenia, and schizophrenia is an awful, terrible illness to live with that ruins lives and kills people.

 

Anyway, my point before was that 4chan is full of idiots, while Tumblr is full of a*****es. People on 4chan will just call you a f****t and be done with it, people on Tumblr will dox you, post your information online, and threaten to murder your family just because you're a straight, white male (and urge all their friends to join in too).

 

Why 4chan gets the bad rap as the site populated by asshats and not Tumblr is beyond me. To people who are out of the SJW loop, Tumblr is the place full of people who post Idiotic SuperWhoLock gifs and poorly drawn porn fan fiction, not death threats and hate speech. Tumblr's got 2 separate images.

 

edit: on a whim, I decided to type "straight people are" into the Google search bar and see what the popular searches were. The first 2 are "straight people are evil" and "straight people are the devil".
