Not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes.

I am finding it almost impossible to join up with other lobbies. I almost always end up in a solo lobby after looking for groups on any difficulty.

Anyone else had this? If so, is there a fix?

Welcome to club brother, i just spend whole day for finding random lobby and i play 5 times with other people ;).

There is no sense for playing MP if we dont find any static group.

So, is there a cure? It all went awful for me after the new DLC, nearly impossible to find group.

I just started MP a few days ago on 360, same issue, very hard to find a lobby. I am really hoping its a software issue vs lack of players as it seems so far to be a great game online.

The problem, in this case, may be two-fold (or more...who knows), Lexa. With the release of new (free) DLC, matches traditionally are a little harder to come by because there are people who have not installed the DLC playing as well. If there is a mismatch in installed DLC between you and another player, you will not be able to play together. The only thing you can do in this case is to make sure that you have all the Multiplayer DLC installed.

The only "cure" that I know of is not so much a cure for the Quick Game, but rather a workaround:  Get people on your platform-appropriate friends list and play with them. This has the added side-effect of generally building a stronger group as you play together. Sadly, that's about all we got right now until Bioware focuses their efforts on fixing these issues.

One more thing you can do is check to make sure the appropriate ports are open on your network for playing DAI:MP. These ports vary between platforms. Hopefully this article can help:  http://answers.ea.co...945647#U3945647

These are the only things *you* can control though, sadly. The stability of games and ability to find random games seems to be a blight on this game regardless of platform.

Hey Mustang! A number of posts have implied that the player base on the 360 is lower compared to most other platforms. I don't have numbers for you, but it definitely sounds a little lower. There are also some weird region-locking dark magicks being employed with this game. So you won't find an open lobby hosted by someone on the other side of the world like we used to in ME3. This obviously diminishes the number of lobbies you can drop into as well. I saw somewhere on the boards that the region-locking mechanisms that are in place are there "to improve performance." So it would seem they were aware of the network issues early and put this in place to mitigate them. Just my observation, though.

I know all those words above don't help to fix your problems, guys, but just sharing what little information I have. Hope some of it was even a little helpful.

Thanks bud, I remember you from ME/MP. It looks like I am going to have to get an xbox one, I have over 80- people on my friends list that have moved, I just came back after taking a two year break:) Having to change console's is a pain as I have so many games for 360 and my console has less than a hundred hours, bought a new one during ME and the xb one was not out yet.

Anyhow your comments make sense, lag when I do find a lobby is a pain yet I am fiber running 200/30 range with my tests so I know it's not my connection.

Also depends what time of the day you play, I am on XBOne, in the UK, and if I log on in the morning before work between 6-8 I only see high levels (15+) playing in routine (which annoys me no end) and no one in Threatening or Perilous, in the evening, i.e. after about 17:30 I usually find a healthy number of players, obviously weekends there are always more on.

There is also a thread on here with XBOne players in Looking for Group, you could also add any people you play with (and like of course..lol) so you can build a friend base of players so you will always have people to play with..

Ha, yeah - on each other's FL for months (maybe years?) and I think we played one game together. heh

I still have games I'm working through on my 360. Plus, I still play ME3 on there. More fun than DAI:MP, for me at least, and a great deal more stable. Some good games coming for the One, though. Might be time to start looking at the switch, man. It's a solid system that Microsoft seems to be making better every month with their updates.

And yeah, I have more than enough bandwidth for this or any other game. I'm able to have multiple 360s running ME3MP off my connection with no lag, for example. The lobby disconnects I've experienced are not some isolated issue. They have happened multiple times *to the BW team* during their Dragons n' Donuts Twitch streams on Friday's. It might just be difficult to pinpoint. Combine that with difficulties finding lobbies - tough for a game to build and keep its following like that.

Happy hunting, sir!

Funny you say that. I logged on to get a quick dragon kill this morning before work. I didn't want to mess around, so I brought my level 17 archer in with one of the better bows in the game. Readied up as soon as my UI finished loading and ran to the other room to get some sh*t together for work. I came back and had 2 skulls (kick votes) on me. Dafuq? Last guy readied up and the game went smoothly. Was just weird to see kick votes on me considering I was ready. Maybe they're high-level Routine player haters like you, Eyecon!

I seem to only have this problem when trying to pug perilous, I go through the loading screen but end up as the host of my own solo lobby.

I don't vote kick high levels in Routine, I just find it odd that high levels would play in routine, everything dies in 1 hit, no challenge, if anything I leave the lobby as it takes the fun away for my character.

I can understand vote kicks for people not readying up for ages, if you are not playing then don't keep other waiting.

I totally hear you - was just messing with you. I ran high levels in Routine this weekend to get the dragon kills for the event out of the way. It's one of the few things I can do to stack the odds in my favor when contending with network instability and people who don't belong in the difficulty they are attempting.

Outside of the events, though, I agree with the effect it has on other players when a level 18 archer shows up with a Griffon Bow and says "Let's dance." Even worse when playing your low-level tank character. Same reason I avoid playing certain kit/weapon combinations in ME3 - it either trivializes the game or employs certain abilities that are just annoying to other players (Flamer, Recon Mine spam, etc.).

In any event, happy hunting!

I just harness the power of my One to get to all my 360 stuff.  I still have both consoles.
