Well I am bored at home with my wife at a baby shower. With Mother's Day around the corner (tomorrow, so you still have time to get a gift), I thought it would be a chance to think about the Moms of Dragon Age and ask "what gift would their children give them". Feel free to include your cannon wardens and Hawks into the mix.
If you want an example, I think the OGB would get Morrigan a new robe. Honestly, the reason I think he is so strange is that he has to stare at his mom's side boob most of his life.
I have better ones, but I want to see what other people post first and then I will throw out some more later.

Hawk for his/er mother....
The BEST body guard in the world. Body mail that will not allow some creep to cut thought flesh, perhaps a tight fitting, stainless steal neckless, and a long sharp blade that pops out of her had bag when any crazy mage approaches...also a new brother.
Warden's mom, new neighbors, ones that don't want to run a massive home invasion scam on your keep.
Inquisitor...free postage, seems we only get together through occasional letters, perhaps a crystal ball with Skype powers??

Mother's day is not the best day for dragon age.
Only one warden back ground with a Mom alive and that one has a horrible relationship with her when she's not busy being drunk. Hawk's mom is dead. alistar does not know his mom is alive. Morrigan was running form her mom and then her mom kinda died for real. Rhys' mom is dead. Cassandra's mom is dead. Lelianna's mom is dead. Sten doesn't have the consept of a mother at all. Bull kind of do but he this he let that woman down. Sera real mom is dead and hated her adopted mom and regrets it now she's dead.
Wow... off the top of my head only Josephine and Cullan have good relation ships with there mom's.

I don't believe we know if anyone's mother are still alive Hawke's ,warden's , we never heard about any of our companions families other than Cassandra who has all of her family is dead, Iron Bull who technically doesn't have a mother ,varric's are also dead and sera lack of a family, cullen's die durning the blight, So the only people we know who are who can really celebrate it are Josie, Kerrian, and morrigan

Pretty much at this point especially with flemeth being most likely dead or something like this and this isn't even really canon In the canon all mothers of every kind that are alive are dead or Josie or undiscovered broodmothers

Well Dragon Age probably has more living moms than most animated Disney films.
My toons are always lesbians...little difficult to impregnate without a spell or something. Not too much available in the cannon.
We could get Flemeth a new...well everything I can think of is a spoiler...screw it...we'll get her a Cabana Boy.
Hopefully he will have better luck than the Chasind.

Sure she dresses different but we've had a whole thread arguing about that. But barring that (for those who cannot get over it), Morrigan seems to be a pretty good mom given the circumstances. She started out not even considering the OGB to be a child back in Origins and then grew into the role to become a protective mother perfectly willing to sacrifice herself to save him.
That said for me the image of motherhood in DA universe will always be Flemeth seeing as she's Mythal and she's the mother.
