Decided to take a peek here again and I gotta say; you're improving a lot! Also nice to see you play with the way your Lavellan looks. Spotting some shaved bits and yellow tattoos in your recent works, I'm guessing they are new? ^^

Decided to take a peek here again and I gotta say; you're improving a lot! Also nice to see you play with the way your Lavellan looks. Spotting some shaved bits and yellow tattoos in your recent works, I'm guessing they are new? ^^

 

Thank you! Honestly, it's turned more in to actual "art" (don't wanna give myself too much credit, haha) over time, and even though I still use screenshots as a base, the original and the finished image look very different now.  

 

And yeah, my headcanon is that as time passed after defeating Corypheus, Aidan realized she missed her Vallaslin, and regretted letting Solas take it from her. So she, together with Dorian, designed a new pattern to cover herself with, because even though she realized the tattoos are a part of her culture and the very core of who she is, she will never again let the slave-markings of her gods grace her body. She also let Leliana give her a haircut, because according to her, that is an essential part of every bad break-up, and would most definitely make her feel better. Oh, and one night, after drinking and playing games, she thought it would be a great idea to let Varric pierce her ears. She’s coping, okay? 

 

And to be completely honest I, for one, got really tired of her looking like a princess, and thought by now she would be too, and two, realized that her being kind did not prevent her from looking badass.
