I had read the "Salvaging and You" thread when I started playing this game, and one of the recommendations was to use nearly all your mats to unlock as many armors as fast as possible in order to get them out of the item pool. And when I started a couple months back, it did seem like I would get some sort of armor every few chests or so.
I still have a lot of mage armors to unlock, plus haven't unlocked the the avaar or duelist at all yet. But I also haven't really seen any armor drops via chests in a while (not counting the virtuoso in the dlc guaranteed spot). From the MP equipment document I suppose basically all the ones I have left are unique or rare.
Did the modified loot system manipulate armor drops, or have I just not seen any because they are uncommon? Is the drop rate for unique armor similar to the good unique weapons?
