Pfft. In a remote temple on a mountaintop? Who else is watching? I bet after that quest the Warden made everyone swear an oath of silence regarding their choice of undergarments.

Still, I have yet to see underpants that eat your eyeballs. Not sure what Oghren's been drinking but that stuff is hella strong.

DAO is the only game where I've ever used a nude mod - I just couldn't cope with the underwear sex scenes. There was a, well, toggle for the male characters.

 

I learned the hard way (so to speak) to make sure it was in the correct position while proceeding through the story after it lead to an incident where Alistair and Sten were VERY happy to find the Sacred Ashes.

I think Blackwall would wear tighty whities or plaidweave boxers. I don't think he would be that creative unless he was trying to be sexy. And with all that fur, does he even need to try?

Not that I've thought about it   but going by modern undies (and ignoring the fact they'd be in pretty similar 'smallclothes' or nothing in their reality):

 

Sera- boyshorts or hipsters

Varric- briefs

Cassandra- Hi-cut briefs (but she has a few lacy pairs of bikinis  )

Vivienne- String bikini or tangas

Solas- commando or jockstrap (those leggings leave nothing to the imagination; no VUL or very minimal VUL for him)

Cole- doesn't understand what's going on so he's in a onesie with a butt flap at minimum

Dorian- bikinis, low rise briefs, or jockstrap

Iron Bull- boxer briefs, commando, or jockstrap (if there's one that can contain him  )

Oh man I totally forgot Blackwall!

Blackwall absolutely wears plaid weave. I'm picturing boxer briefs, but you never know.

It's a little specific, but... I imagine Dorian wears a crimson silk thong. Or maybe royal blue. Yes, he just has an assortment of jewel-toned silk thongs stashed in the library.

Bull wears nothing. Of course.

I don't know about Cole. I can't really picture him with genitals to cover at all.

Solas' butt flap long johns are pretty much headcanon for me now. I was chuckling BEFORE seeing the illustration. It's perfect!

Vivienne's undies match whatever outfit she's wearing. It would seem she doesn't bra herself, however.
