Is it really so long since we did console vs PC and PC vs console that we have to do it again already?

This might help end the discussion before it even begins:

Yes, auto aim is the bane of playing ME3mp on console. Really don't know why an option to turn it off wasn't introduced. Especially since it's so poorly programmed. But even if it were properly programmed, I should still have a choice of where I aim my weapon at all times. Hate today's casual gaming trends.
Auto aim on console shooters is a necessity so that 99% of the playerbase can actually hit anything at all with a controller in a reasonable timeframe. Turning it off never serves any benefit, and suggesting to do so is mostly E-dong wanking by casual players who think they are better than they really are.
Besides, it only functions in this game when you ADS, so any issues are easily mitigated by simply doing the majority of the target acquisition process from the hip. Auto aim isn't the reason you're a bad sniper, unless I am just the ME3MP god from having no issues maxing my headshot medals long before the halfway point of nearly every game played with weapon platforms. Only a bad worker blames the tools.

... basically just pointing your hand at the bad guys.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that how one would aim and fire a handgun IRL? I'll take that over a simulated trigger any day.
Someone needs to work on a mouse with a pistol grip. Biovar pls.

For aiming:
Mouse>Real gun>Motion controller>Gamepad

@QMR; having an immediate threat right in front of you only to have auto-aim target an enemy across the map instead is nothing something that helps anyone.
EDIT - and yeah, it targeting swarmers is the only exception because they are an immediate threat, even if across the map. So working as intended TM. ![]()

Real firearms are much harder to use than any control method for a videogame because you have many more variables to account for. Its why professions that use them require extensive training.
Also, you'd think motion controllers were better than pads until you tried to play a shooter on the Wii, and realize how disconnected and unnatural it feels. M+ K is unquestionably the easiest as well as the method with the highest ceiling, making it the best option for shooters.

Sounds like L2P. Don't attempt to ADS and subsequently dragscope like a scrub then. It's going to snap to the closest target to your reticle.

I don't play a next gen console because they have ZERO games that interest me and most of them are on both systems. Perhaps MGS will make me want to buy a PS4....if its well done. Lately I've been playing MGS HD collection.
After seeing DAI I'm not holding my breath for ME4. The only game that could come out today and would force me to go get a next gen console is Last of Us 2. I would get one for that. I really want one with a TB HD from the factory though. 500gb is no where near enough and I'd rather wait to drop a HD in it.
I play ME3 because it is a great game, but I don't play it daily or anything anymore.

Perhaps modify how serious you take the internet. Just an observation. Look at things for what they are and how important they really are.

Let's laugh at the poor people
Are you implying that console players chose a console because they can't afford to game on a PC? Cause I've got to tell you... longterm the PC is cheaper.

^ For the price of a console you could buy yourself a very nice graphics card and more RAM. Consoles at this point in time are trying to do everything that computers do, but they don't do any of it as well. Why pay $400 for a console with all those extra computer-ish features that are done better on your pc?
Eventually consoles will become so much like a pc that people will begin to wonder what's the point. Some of us already do.

Wat?
With the mouse, at least I am aiming, instead of having an auto-aim Haxtatron built in. And lol at playing the weapon (Deerbra goes nuts at this part) No game will be the same as aiming and firing a real weapon.
I am flattered ![]()

I have a decent enough rig and a next gen console. I stopped playing ME3 mp for a couple of months because of work and then I started playing DA:I mp just a few weeks ago.
I just played a few rounds of ME3 mp today (360) for the first time in weeks and I STILL can't believe how much better of a game it is than anything else out there.
