And I don't understand why people were complaining about the AW being overpowered its not a competitive game what was the problem? People weren't getting enough kills? Yall said this wasn't a peen contest

Kenny your an ass lol im not crying im just venting there is a difference
Classic.
OP,
Things change. People adapt. They balanced a class that was ridiculously overpowered. Any sane person will admit that. Just accept that you will have to change up your play style to not rely so heavily on Spirit blade or try another build.
If people hadnt whined it wouldn't have gotten nerfed its because people tried to make a coop game competitive and were pissed off because they weren't number one all that matters is winning the mission not getting butthurt because you were number 2
There's only one person butthurt here....
No there's quite a few here you included Kenny that's why all you can post is rude stupid comments instead of having a discussion your just rude
QQ?
There are valid points brought up about (potentially) overnerfing the AW in this thread. Repeated comments like "QQ" makes it look like you're QQing about QQing. Not pretty man, not pretty at all.
The spirit blade isn't what made the AW an op tank its the fade shield so why Nerf the spirit blade
They did nerf Fade Cloak, it does less damage now

Angelface means Fade shield, the passive that gives the AW the barrier generation in the first place. He/she does have a point though, it's not his active abilities that make him powerful, it's the nature of Fade Shield. The more damage you do, the more durable you are. Thus, the higher your willpower, the better your barrier generation is. You can nerf every one of his abilities to the ground, but he'll still be powerful.
Overnerfed? You still see 2 AW in every perilous pug. People are getting by.
I was referring to potential future changes that some folks on these forums have called for, primarily. Though, Spirit Blade does feel like it was overnerfed to me. The damage nerf, absolutely justified. Doubling the mana cost...feels a bit overboard to me. As it currently stands, Spirit Blade doesn't seem good enough to be worth using without taking Stone Fist and Restorative Veil, mandating a large expenditure of skill points just to support the one ability.
I give it two weeks till they start whining about the duelist because instead of enjoying the game people always have to find something to gripe about
They want Virtuoso's barrier generation nerfed next I believe. Keeper escaped this.
Still can solo dragon in Perilous with AW...
So what this is telling me is it isn't nerfed enough.
Again, people complaining about this nerf must really not know anything about the game mechanics and how to regain mana and have a breather with crowd control spells, use weakened to your advantage and actually use cover with you're surrounded by archers if you don't want to die when you're spamming spirit blade.
If a nerf falls in the forest, and doesn't affect the best build, is it still a nerf?
no if we don't care about the build where the nerf fell on.

Hey, I'll have you know I still use Spirit Blade! ![]()
