Why does everyone in Skyhold revert back to their default clothes? Back in the party camp in DA:O, everybody wore whatever they had equipped and it was fantastic. It was a prime opportunity to admire some of the very pretty armor designs in the game. So can we please have that feature back in Inquisition?

I think this is the third or fourth topic that you created about the game so far in under an hour. Not to be rude, not even sure about the rules myself but I'd have all your questions listed in a big post about the game if your aim is for feedback for.. Any developer that still comes to these forums :/

It's called a discussion "topic", i.e. we discuss a "topic". Having different topics to discuss in their own discussion topics is practically a tautology.

Besides, on these forums you have to be careful about what you put in a topic if you want people to actually talk about the thing you want to discuss and not about a tangent that you mentioned as an example.

When the companions are at Skyhold they are off-duty, resting and relaxing, so they wear their default/preferred clothing, there's no reason for them to wear armour in the castle. In DAO the camp wasn't an off duty thing, just a place to eat sleep then in the morning go kill more stuff, so armour at almost all times was more beneficial just in case the camp went under attack with there being no walls and probably only one or two companions standing watch.

Laidlaw has said to assume the Skyhold outfit for the Inquisitor won't be changed so I assume they won't change the off-duty clothing for the companions either. I would like an official (not mod) armour toggle for inside Skyhold but I don't see it happening.

It's null, my comment anyway, as you only posted two topics

But it's not about what makes sense, but about what is enjoyable. Besides, for many characters, their combat clothes are just as comfortable as their "off duty" clothes.

Irony. You're not discussing the topic and hence you're spamming. Oh, and three topics.

Even though I would like to see more casual options for the inky, I do agree with this about companions. It would be odd the see... say... Blackwall working on the wooden griffon in his full armor, chopping wood and having his romance scene in the inky's bedroom while wearing it. Dorian also has a bedroom scene and would not look bad in his dashing light robes but heavy armor would just look wrong. Even though I also love Cullen to bits, I still wince a little everytime my little elf gets squeezed between the table and his heavy armor. Those poor ribs...

In Origins camp wasn't really considered a safe haven that Skyhold is.  The camp does get attacked and since they have no walls or garrison being out of there armour would be suicide.  Skyhold has heavy fortification so if it was attacked people would have enough time to gear up and even plan strategy before taking on the attackers.

Well here is an odd one, when leaving skyhold still in pajamas when you get there - not much armor those.  Yes its rare, but it should not happen at all, so maybe add an option default to armor and let cutscenes do what they may.

I dunno. Personally, I prefer to break these things down by subject.
