Oh, this looks like fun.
English is not my first language, so I guess I learned the vocabulary more consciously then my mother tongue.
There are heaps of cool words in English. I like some of those:
science -> Cool sound and crazy spelling. Also, probably it stands for one of the most useful ways to spend your time, so what's not to like.
sophisticated -> It's one of these words that make themselves. Say it and you'll feel like you live it.
to flip -> I flippin' love flipping. Just fun to say.
And one more that is specific to BSN:
to virmire -> as in, the verb. Examples: Who did you virmire? I virmired Kaidan yesterday. Let's see who we'll be virmiring next time.
Also, great to see that the first word to come up in this thread was vindicated. That was also on my list.

"Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch," the name of a Welsh village. It's my favorite word to say because I can pronounce it and write it off the top of my head without having to consult the internet.
Other than that, I'm a big fan of expressions that are severely out of date, like "Golly gee willikers!" I also like to use some of those old English that you see in Shakespeare. If I want to greet someone, I'm sometimes tempted to say, "What ho!" If someone's acting out of line, I might say, "You saucy boy!", etc.
