In my current playthrough my seed collection is showing as 18 / 18 found, but the quest is still showing as incomplete. There are no locked herbs in the list for common or rare, so are there only 18 to be found, or is there something else I need to do to complete that collection quest?

One possibility has to do with a patch. There's been issues with death root. I read that it was supposedly taken off of the nursery seeds list because you couldn't actually harvest seeds from the plant. That was a glitch that I guess they addressed recently, but use like the other glitch regarding the arch demon mosaic, the patch didn't actually fix all problems it claimed it would.

The latest patch removed the deathroot seeds. It must only work (insofar as the quest getting marked completed) if you have more seeds left to gather (i.e., you had less than 18 seeds before installing the patch).

I don't think there's a way to correct it now. You have all the seeds, in any event.

I'm glad you mentioned the Archdemon mosaic, because that was exactly the other issue I was coming to find information on. I completed all the mosaic collections, but I'm not getting credit for that one -- the mural's missing a piece and the codex won't update.  Bioware, I love you, Y U NO FIX?
