Yvonne Strahovski, but I am biased.

so am i mostly because she is australian and i love to hear the australian accent(which i can only ever hear if its next to an american accent)

Yes sir! I totally forgot that she is Australian; I'm a big Chuck fan, so I'm used to hearing her speak with an American accent. Which she pulls off very well!

lol i would watch Chuck if i could ever manage to see the first episode on tv i just like our accent suits the kinda role miranda plays, kinda like heath ledger's australian accent made the joker sound even more insane in the dark knight....our accent is just evilImage IPB

If by evil you mean bad ****! Nothing is cooler then an australian accent. It's cool, sexy, and tough all at once, I don't think any other accent is all three so strongly.

I HIGHLY suggest you watch Chuck it's a great TV show, and Strahovski is a freakin goddess.

lol well its rare that i ever hear an australian accent(as weird as that sounds since i live in australiaImage IPB ) it depends on the person if it sounds good or not some australian accents i have heard sounded horribleImage IPB i will just a question is chuck a very funny show or not really?

WTH? In the Dark Knight, Ledger, as any actor should be able to when needed, had no sign of his natural accent and futhermore had no trace of any accent to begin with let alone australian.

Wishpig: Yay! Another Chuck fan. B)

I personally enjoy the witty Chuck humor, so I find the show very funny!

To those who don't already know, casts are relatively easy to assemble without lots of money any actor who has done VO work for them in the past is easy to get and will do it cheaper than anyone else, in case of seth green and some others, they are also gamers, sci-fi geeks, etc. and love VO for games so again will do it cheaper, and others are rising stars and the old guard so again are relatively cheap,

Mordin played by Michael Beattie I think(?).

After seeing some clips I thought the high speed delivery would grate on my nerves. Playing the game I found his lines suprisingly witty and humourous at times with the frantic pace fitting seamlessly into who Mordin is. I'd suggest taking Mordin on his loyalty quest, after that you'll see just how broad the range of the voice talent gets and also the character depth/emotion thats achieved.

So if I'm right thinking Michael Beattie is the voice behind Mordin, top marks for the performance he put in from me.

Beattie is indeed his voice.

I'd compliment the entire voicecast for an amazing job, but to address a few points here...

Seth Green, one some might expect -not- to do a good job, really is perfect as Joker. He does all his lines appropriately, and the only thing I could possibly see anyone taking fault with the character would be his writing. Even then, I see very little reason to take issue. Great job Seth Green!

Tali? Again, writing. All of her lines are said perfectly. Excellent work as before Miss Sroka.

Mordin, I maintain my stance on him. Underdog character, but actually the best of the newly introduced characters. Great VO work, great writing, all around excellent. Great job Michael Beattie.

Martin Sheen... just so damn perfect. Such a perfect voice for the role.

The only character I feel is odd for his VO work is Kal'Reegar. Clearly its his writing, because the style of him and his VO is like the oddball Quarian who doesn't really feel like he's -really- a Quarian. That said, given with what he had to work with his VO guy (whose name escapes me, apologies.) Did a great job.

Some people mentioned the engineers and I going to guess that Adrien Paul plays Donnelly

Chuck is funny, well written, action packed, full of twists, and just a top notch show... the fact fans actually managed to raise enough money and convince NBC to uncancel the show backs up it's awesome.

Think the Office spliced with Alias.

And Strahovski is just... GAWD... AMAZING!

Hell, I didn't even know that Aria was voiced by Carrie-Ann Moss. I guess the old Star Wars crowd really do nail the voice acting gigs, with Mark Hamill being the quintessential Joker.

I guess I haven't gotten far enough but I'm kinda disappointed not hearing Keith David yet, if he's still in it.

Carrie-Ann Moss is best known for playing Trinity in The Matrix. She wasn't in Star Wars. You're thinking of Carrie Fisher, who played Princess Leia.

For now, my favorite is Micheal Hogan with Jennifer Hale in a very close second. Martin Sheen actually sounded rather flat to me, but I guess that is how his character is supposed to sound.

I've felt all the voice work, even the some of the smaller characters has been excellent. It's to the point though that I feel like the voice of sheppard is kind of overmatched by all these excellent actors.

Tali/Miranda for 2nd place. And I'm really surprised about Miranda. She did a fantastic job. I don't know why I was expecting less, I just was.

That guy with the accent on deck 4 is cool. Some people don't like male sheps voice but it doesn't stand out in the good or bad side. Although it would be freekin' awesome if male shep was voiced by Arnold Swartseneger or whatever you call him. but it would be even cooler if female shep was voiced by arnold swartchawager. That would be hillarious.

I just realised that the two main stars from Chuck (minus chuck) are in this game. The actor who plays Chuck is a hardcore sci-fi nerd in real life... he must be so damn jealous!

Kal'Reegar is Adam Baldwin I believe. Another Chuck actor. I also thought that character seemed out of place since most Quarians I have seen so far have heavy accents and weren't so soldier like. I just chalked it up to Quarians being more diverse that I originally envisioned them.

I agree. We get the Southern Quarian, tossing "ain't" around...just sounded really weird and out of place. But the actual Voice Work was solid. And it's Adam Baldwin. So, it didn't really bother me.

Yeah, I didn't really care for it for the exact same reason. But then again I never liked BSG past season 1. But again the voice work was top notch. I just found it distracting...like Winona Ryder in Star Trek...And again: nothing at all against Michael Hogan.
