In all honesty, if people don't like the content of a thread that specifically references S&M and the like when it is clearly written in the tittle - they have the freedom to either express their thoughts (hopefully in a polite manner) or not enter the thread at all.

you can't. I have tons of extremely non-PC opinions that would easily get me banned, that I present not from a position of hatred but as my honest opinions and from my own experience.
The moderates are heavily biased in terms of pro-Bioware positions and are apply double (or triple) standards to anti-Bioware positions, this shouldn't really shock anyone.
The thing is this is their company, their board, their fans, so I'm not the type to wreck their happiness. If I want to see something different or see something different I'll make my own game.
It's hard to ignore their company (and fan's) insistence that they're open to competing opinions though, that's going to attract people to test that. So if they moderate or censor Jack, that materially detracts from that reputation and indeed they will have been mostly talk on that front.

Thing is, though, politics and ideologies shouldn't be discussed on these forums, as they are irrelevant. In theory. It's usually inevitable that discussions devolve into it anyway. I fully support criticizing Bioware's occasional tendency to shove their own politics into their games, and we do get threads related to that. But they're still simple, in that they aren't pushing for their "side," but rather are put off by Bioware's jarring pandering. From what I've seen, those threads get surprisingly respectful discussion, even if the OP is pretty steamed.
Basically, non Bioware-related things don't really belong here (but they'll be here anyway because peace is lame).

See the only thing jarring to me is this insistence that they can handle any opinion or point of view and are so above tumblr or wherever else more extreme opinions proliferate and I'm like well if that were true you wouldn't have all these locked threads lying around. Usually that's because oh well "those opinions" are somehow too far gone, when I've seen mercenary and blatant trolling go on unpunished because they were again more favorable to Bioware.
At the end of the day, they've either gotta drop the veneer of we're perfect and can handle everything or meet people in the field without wilting.
Besides it's not like politics is inherently evil or something, it can not belong in video games or entertainment but still be a valid thing in the broader sense.
Also all the DA games are pretty expressly political in one way or another.

well, this thread was...something. I've laughed my ass off, felt like vomiting and had the idea of multiple Isabellas implanted in my head (not complaining.)
I think I'll just go reread Sunstone now, kind of need something positive about this topic.
As awesome as Sunstone is (and I recommend it to almost everyone), it only shows one facet of BDSM. It's not the complete picture and not necessarily true for everyone in the lifestyle. Otherwise it is brilliant, funny and sexy.
