In world of thedas it describes all the specialists called to the inquisition so i don't think it would clash too much with peoples personal inquisitors.

In that case, if Trainers were ever introduced to the MP, which ones would you like to see, what weapons and skills/spells would they wield?

Mage-

Your Trainer. She is brilliant, and her dialogue is amusing. Obviously she would wield a staff, and she would have access to rift magic spells. In addition to SF, Vs and PotA, id hope to see new rift spells ones for defense (like the new skill from the JoH dlc) or offense.

Rogue-

Kihm. Tempests like to be in the thick of battle, and with his accent and way of talking would also provide some amusement in party banter. Skills wise, would like to see him as a dagger user, with access to throwing knives for ranged and thousand cuts.

Warrior-

Ser. I kind of picture him with a two handed weapon. I find him very interesting as despite insisting he is not of the order, he does have history with Cullen. Also, he could comment on Belinda's skills and gently scold her for poor techniques or add praise.
Banter at demons and red templars could make for good mid fight banter.

These would be excellent candidates for agents. It's already established that they are with the inquisition and they have some abilities not in the game and your trainer would have hilarious banter.

I dunno, I'm rather intrigued by the idea of bringing more semi-high profile characters in as agents.

*coughs* Aveline *coughs* Mabari *coughs* Harding *coughs* Sketch *coughs* Charade

I think it's a great way to deal with their absence during such a global chaos. And honestly, I'm just not that taken by the Trainers as characters.

That's actually pretty clever. If out of any one of them, I'd probably go with Your Trainer; just for the sheer awkwardness.
