To become gender neutral you can no longer look for toys if you want them for a "boy" or a "girl"
If you go to the Toys & Games section of Amazon.com, you might notice that something has changed.
The online retailer removed the "Boys" and "Girls" filters from toys in an apparent attempt to become more gender neutral.
Margot Magowan and Julie Gunlock appeared on "Fox and Friends Weekend" to debate if this is a good move or not.
"What Amazon's decision gives is more freedom of choice for consumers," Magowan said. "So consumers are no longer guided to buy toys based on gender stereotypes, where toys for girls are based on fashion and beauty and what you look like and toys for boys are based on building and science and electronics."
"This move by Amazon is a stunt to satisfy these feminists who want this taken away," Gunlock countered. "The bottom line is people are different, children are different."
"Consumers have plenty of choices out there and this just makes it harder to shop."
