Next time you might think about skipping treasure rooms, think again. It's clear they've had their loot tables drastically improved. In the last two days I have got a Punched by the Maker (perilous) and a purple HoK ring (threatening), both just from chests.
May not have got my hands on any dragon loot yet, but I'm pretty happy with those finds! Anyone else struck gold on chests?
Nice! Haven't received anything that great from in game chests yet, but overall I do see an improvement in drops. In Threatening, have received some Dragon weps, but rare level, so they are basically mats.
The treasure room chests in Ferelden castle have a pretty decent chance of dropping purples. (In perilous anyways, not sure about the other levels)
Most of the purples aren't very good, but most purples aren't good from the store chests either.
I did however get a Superb Stamina Amulet from one of the treasure room chests in FC the other day.
Nothing interesting here. Here's hoping though, I don't play on the new map though, that could be it.
Yeah I´ve struck gold recently. Got a Song of the Marches (1h axe) with 291 dps with a superb rune and Fury of the Veil (staff) with 153 DPS from the same chest. The next chest i got was Staff of the Void, 146 DPS.
Which is both great and a bummer since I prefer to play 2h warrior or DW assassin.

I recently got a Glittering Darmallion in a treasure room chest, it's not better than what I already have (I'm one of those annoying casuals who got a Sulevin blade after playing a month and were like "Is dis any gud? :B") but it's nicer than an Army Dirk.

Starting to wish I hadn't salvaged about 5 superb runes in hopes I'd get the cloth I needed to unlock virtuoso and his gear upgrades. I now realized I haven't seen a single superb since the DLC which is when I started playing again.

me and my group went from basically NEVER doing doors to doing them every time now, especially in the new Ferelden castle map. i have had games where i get three purples and thats before getting to the dragon and possibly getting a dragon weapon. the next time i get three+ purples in one match i'm gonna record it just to have some proof. also its not just me my whole group and a few others i play with have seen a massive improvement in chest loot.
So only the dragon map has this crazy loot? Perilous matters?

i don't know if its just Ferelden castle, but my drop rate in this map has been consistently insane. seriously i went from seeing maybe 1-2 chest purples(from free doors and whatnot) every couple weeks, to several every day. sometimes back to back.

Not going to lie, I open all treasure rooms and have seen a drop in items received, and items received are mostly army dirks. That said, the gold is a plus
If I ever did get useful purple items from map chests, I don't remember. It could very well be everything I've gotten from map chests was salvage fodder.

Heads up that treasure rooms now have a high chance to award cloth. This is up until the servers are poked on Friday to start the next weekend challenge.
This will be a help to the cloth bottleneck, hopefully. I need me a ZITHER!
If I get enough cloth I might actually craft Isabella instead of waiting on her to drop. I'm in no rush so I should still wait until she's at least unlocked so I can craft her upgrade armors for a cheaper cloth price.
got 6 silk on a single threatening chest, glorious days.
Count me as not down with materials as dragon drops on Perilous; though I understand some folks are suffering from a lack of cloth, keep the mats for Routine or Threatening.
Running routine/threatening for the free cloth. Lol. Armor sets here I come!
