Is it still unfortunate if it is true?
Is that a problem with female animations? Looks to me like a good ol' bug. Could be wrong though.

This dude really said "roleplay a female character". Calm down OP, it's not that special.

Tell that to Ubisoft who claimed they were too difficult to animate. ![]()
Some more news about Syndicate:
- It will release October 23rd for PS4 and X1.
- The PC version is in development and will release in Q4 2015.
- There is no multiplayer mode.
- There will be two playable characters (Jacob and Evie) and you're only required to play one or the other on specific missions.
- It will feature historical figures such as Charles Dickens and Darwin. (Hopefully, Queen Victoria as well)

Hopefully without having to worry about getting co-op mode in there now they can make a functional game =P
They blew there only chance with me by making this game take place 20 years before the Jack the Ripper era. I would of had some interest in hunting down that murderous legend.
Assassin's Creed: Victory? More like Defeat, amirite?
Anyway, my poor attempts at humor aside, I do like the premise but I'm not in any particular rush to crave this game, considering I have yet to tackle Black Flag and Unity. But I'll add this one to the list that I will most likely get, at some point in the future.
I'm changing it to Syndicate because of that.
No respect for Queen Victoria at all.

I wonder how much present day content there will be, if at all.

Assassin's Creed to surpass Call of Duty as rpg of the year?

That was a joke.
Still waiting to stab Samurai Templars in feudal Japan.
Also, will this and Bloodborne set off a Victorian trend? I kind of hope so. I'm afraid Order 1886 might have killed it.
Jacob and Evie, brother and sister, who are both part of London's criminal underworld
run by the nefarious Moriarty!
Tell that to Ubisoft who claimed they were too difficult to animate.
They are!
Have you ever seen how the female body looks as it falls from the top of a city's tallest building?
Wait... don't answer that...
The female body cannot fall at a proper 30 FPS. Thus, they lack that cinematic feel.

And ofc the dude will get the most attention and screentime, who cares about the female protagonist right? As long as she is there just so some poor gamers like me who usually prefer female protags, will play as her. ![]()
She looks stunning btw.
I've recently begun a body conditioning, strength building, flexibility increasing set of exercises and workouts as part of a parkour training course.
If I can do it, anyone can!
/seriously Ubi c'mon now

She looked really great in the photos from Kotaku, But she doesn't look THAT great in the gameplay footage unfortunately. Both the trailer and gameplay footage were pretty boring in my opinion. Didn't live up to what I was expecting.

However, She does look great in the poster though.

Looked like a pretty standard AC game - although some new gameplay mechanics look quite interesting (rope launcher, using environment),
No multiplayer (so they focus on SP) and two protagonists also sound interesting. Almost like they're learining from their mistakes.
Although my expectations are not very high - I'm waiting for the reviews on this one.
I haven't even played Unity and Rogue yet.
