Shepard's a spectre so he's probably a dick anyways.

He is too handsome. As an avid movie watcher for many decades, I have learned that it doesn't matter how competent you are as long as you're handsome. You will be the leader, the main character, and the love interest to an equally attractive woman. (Adam Sandler broke that mould)
Wait, what was the question?

Honestly, the MP characters are equal to or better than Shepard in combat, in my opinion. Its just they don't have his anime-style charisma to get everyone to follow them lol.

Plus, he has like 6 powers compared to the standard 3. lol

Shepard has customizable powers, so he'd be sworn off by BSNers as soon as someone came in with Tac Cloak, Marksman & Hunter Mode all in one.

Yes, marksman infiltrator Shep would demolish every possible combo we could come up with.
Broshep would be especially deadly vs Cerberus. All the Fantums would want to bang (ok?), and the rest of the faction would be rendered useless without them.

What about the "drag"oons?

Not if the setting of the next Mass Effect was full of Commander Shepard tier characters.
(I don't think anyone beats Shepard in the original trilogy, to be clear. And the N7 MP characters are like 1/2 Shepard at best, and the story SP squadmates are like, I dunno, 2/3 at best as well)

I always wished that you could import your Shepard characters into multiplayer. The only reason I wish this is so that I could import my renegade Commander Lil B**ch Shepard because of how horribly ugly he is and I want the world to see. He's so ugly that his ugliness makes people want to shoot him. That's how hilariously ugly he is. Did I mention he was ugly?

Well, i'm going by how in campaign, Shep only winds up facing like, 10 boss units TOTAL. While the MP characters fight waves after waves after waves of them.
So like, to Shepard, a banshee, atlas, or phantom is an actual threat. To a MP N7, they are just one of many enemies at the same time.
So I rank the MP N7s as at LEAST equal to shepard.
Remember, technically there's nothing special about Shepard when compared to other Spectres and N7s. he was just in the wrong place at the right time, and kinda got thrown into the situation on account of the fact nobody else was even aware of the problem.

On the other hand, teams with female humans, female Quarians and Asari would be rendered useless for similar reasons.
Meanwhile if you used a FemShep? Male humans, male Turians and Asari would similarly be hindered.

What would be his six powers? My pic: tac cloack, stim packs, marksman, hunter mode, arc grenades, flamer. (or overload, inferno grenades instead of the last two).

In multiplayer he/she could only have 3 powers so how OP could you get

The only advantage Shep has are the additional powers. Just checked on my adept Shep and well... a lot more versatile than the MP counterpart, but only 800hp/shields, longer cooldowns and less damage. Really scrubby by MP standards. She is wearing a Phantom suit though. ![]()

You can fight like a Krogan, run like a leopard
But you'll never be better than Commander Shepard...
Zero cooldown on biotic combos. Tech attacks like a DDOS hacker with a smart AI, pure, unadultered flame explosions every 0,3 seconds...
Faster, meaner, with a patended rape face worth of a weapon of mass destruction.
40% more flat damage with any weapons and s/he's a zombie cyborg super soldier with demigod determination: basically a human cheat code.
Hands down, Shepard is already OP in singleplayer...
