I've been playing through ME3, and I just completed Priority: Horizon. Unfortunately Miranda died, so I went back a few saves and have been playing it again in desperate attempts to try and save her. I spoke with Anderson about Kai Leng and read the dossier, and mentioned Kai Leng to Miranda at the Spectre Terminal holographic meeting, and I told her I'd share the Alliance assets with her when I met with her at the apartment. I've read that you apparently have to manually grant her access to the Alliance assets via the Spectre Terminal, however when I go there, the option isn't there? Is this a glitch in my game, or am I doing something wrong? Please help as I don't want to have played through again just to have Miranda die twice. ;~;
How to save Miranda?!

There seems to be a lot of conflicting information about how to keep Miranda alive,
As far as I know, all you need to do to keep her alive is:
1. Talk to her at each opportunity you get. There should be three meet-ups:
a. At D24 docking bay near the beginning of the game.
b. At the Spectre Terminal shortly after the Citadel Coup.
c. At one of the apartments on the Presidium some time after the coup (typically during the Geth/Quarian arc).
2. At the Presidium meet-up, grant her request for Alliance access. Access will be granted automatically; you do not need to manually give it at a terminal.
3. At Sanctuary, use Charm or Intimidate to convince Henry Lawson to let Oriana go. (if you do not convince him, she will end up being shot.)
So as long as you meet up with her all three times, and give her access to Alliance data during the third meeting, you should be good. If you have increased you reputation enough during the campaign, you should have enough reputation to Charm/Intimidate Henry Lawson to let Oriana go.
Some people have mentioned that you need to tell Miranda Lawson about Kai Leng during the second meeting, but I am pretty sure this will be done automatically through the dialogue sequence.

OP are you doing a non-import ME3 game? She usually dies in non-import games no matter what you do iirc.
Most of my games are imports so I'm not 100% sure.

You seem to be doing everything correctly. Like another poster said, I think she always dies in ME3 if you are doing an non import game.
She can also die if you didn't get her loyal in ME2 I think. And if you are importing a romance from ME2, she dies if you don't rekindle the romance...

Actually if you don't keep her loyal in ME2, she dies at the end of ME2. I always thought it was stupid that you had to resolve that fight between her and Jack if you wanted them both to survive at the end, and you could only do this with a super high paragon or renegade score. So you side with Jack and Miranda hates you forever, nevermind the fact that you saved her sister's life. No, you didn't take her side in a petty argument, so now she's putting you down in every conversation dialogue and hates on you until the final mission during which she dies because she just isn't feeling inspired enough to fight for you, you mean mean Jack-lover. Sure.

You can save her if she's non-loyal. Just have her hold the line and give enough meat shields to support her. Loyal Grunt and Zaeed work wonderfully. In fact, Grunt can hold the line on his own. ![]()

3. At Sanctuary, use Charm or Intimidate to convince Henry Lawson to let Oriana go. (if you do not convince him, she will end up being shot.)
That only happens if the player ignores the interrupt.
If Shepard doesn't use charm/intimidate against Lawson, an interrupt will pop up having Shepard shoot Oriana in the leg otherwise Henry Lawson shoots Miranda in the gut killing her within seconds

Hmmm never tried that one.

I'm doing a non-import because Miranda died in ME2 due to me somehow completely screwing up the suicide mission haha, hence why I want to save her so bad.
I guess if I do everything right the second time and she still dies, I'll have to play through ME2 again and then do an import game after.

Miranda always dies on non-import runs, you'll have to play through ME2, I'm afraid.

Yeah. Miranda has to be loyal going into ME3 for her to survive. A nonimport Shepard did not help her.

Yes, all of the above is correct. But, one thing worth noting is that after encountering Kai Leng, Anderson will warn Shepard about him and send a dossier to your Private Mail. Then, you need to read it so that Shepard warns Miranda when talking to her during the Holo Conversation in the Spectre's Office.
Plus, I've read a rumor that if you romanced her in ME2 and broke up with her on ME3, no matter if you do all of the above, she will still die.
