It could have been that simple folks, why could they not just keep it simple? Instead of all that thought provoking us versus them, here is your convenient super weapon, deus ex, matrix, kill them to make us so you can join us then make us later blah blah blah WHAT?!?!

Yes I want a remastered trilogy if not only out of curiosity to see if they would actually have the balls to redo the ME3 ending all together. The Reapers should have remained what Sovereign was in ME1 THE ENEMY!!!!! Come on Bioware.

Give Us What We Really Want.........yeah many want to bury their heads in the sand and just say screw it make new and better content, game, etc. but at the end of the day THE ENDING THE ENDING THE ENDING is a wound that runs deep.

Bring all your surviving team members together, fight Harbinger, defeat Harbinger, big freaking beam of light comes from Harbinger destroying all the Reapers and their minions, the sky opens up, the sunshines, the day is won, the end, role credits. SIMPLE SIMPLE SIMPLE, EASY. May not be the best idea but it is better closure than what we got people.

For Heaven Sakes DAT ENDING

A remaster would not change the ending. Move on.

Yeah, I'm good without another ridiculous boss battle against a Reaper, but thanks.

I keep saying this about the anti-ender crowd, people just do not listen.

They do not care to explore what the ending is telling them, they want to have the ending end how they want. Instead of criticizing the ending on its terms, they criticize it for not being what they want it to be. You cannot do that.

And MEHEM goes to show what kind of people that bashes the ending are. The people who want to dumb things down.

And really, if you actually get it, the ending makes a  whole lot of sense, as well as tying into all the themes of the trilogy and its nature of the narrative element on cycles.

Funny how OP has a DAI avatar, wow, is that game dumbed down from ME3. Now that game has a really terrible ending.

As long as we're redesigning stuff, I vote for removing some of the boss fights we already have, not adding more. Specifically, the Saren-hopper and Human-Reaper fights. (How about Orsino too while we're at it?)

In what universe does it count as "having balls" when you redesign stuff to please someone else instead of sticking to your own vision? I'm pretty sure we used to call that "pandering." Or maybe "selling out."

I want boss fights everywhere. :D They just need more variety...more unique patterns.

Some stuff was cool in ME3 (Tuchanka/Rannoch), but mostly they fall under two categories. Fast/shifty targets (like Saren or the Reaper), or taking out smaller forces to break down a barrier or some such (like Beneziah, unlocking Aria, or the Turian in Jack's mission).

That said, I don't think the ending needs a boss fight. Earth just needs more scale and more drama to the whole battle.

They can't change anything now. They've waited too long, also you'd be angering more fans than you are pleasing at this point.

Anything that would wipe that trainwreck of an ending out of existence would be better.

Not going to happen though.

Personally, I want to see if bioware has THE BALLS to give us the endings we actually want, without us having to wait around till the end LIKE SHEEP I'm talkin all of the Reapers (you know, THE ENEMY!!!) being destroyed every five minutes from the start of ME1 because, we don't even get to talk to them until practically the end of ME1 what the hells up with that and there's only one of them.  So what I'm sayin is wall-to-wall big freaking rays of lights constantly oh and every single crew member from every game on screen at all times and Shepard can do one of them every half hour but not at the same time the Reapers get destroyed because A HERO doesn't do that.

I'm killing Shepard in my final play of the Mass Effect trilogy. I'm playing hardcore for the beam run. If Shepard does not survive Marauder Shields, that's the end.

The ME3 ending was simply stupid beyond words.

So let me get this straight, then, as I need to be sure I understand. You don't like the ending, right? There's something about it, something lacking or otherwise offensive to you, that just... really gets under your skin? Compels you toward negativity?

I'm sorry, it's just a really, really foreign concept around here. I wasn't sure I followed. I think I get it now, though. There's an ending, and it's not a thing that you like. One could even say you don't enjoy it, and that makes you mad. About the ending. Which, by you, has not been well received.

Got it.

That horse is clearly faking being dead. Definitely needs repeated continued beatings.

just tired of these companies so called "art, visions" whatever you want to call it these days. Your clearly the hero, this is the big bad enemy, find a way to defeat the enemy, not try to understand them, destroy them, the end, simple. Its cool to create a game that makes you think about the journey taken to get to the end but you don't need the complicated BS Enemy boo hoo no one understands me crap!!!!! Your the hero, they are the enemy, kill them, the day is won, period.

MASS EFFECT 3, DESTINY, DAI, and I am sure many other hyped games so called "endings" just plain sucked balls. Its becoming a trend now or maybe fans are just not smart enough to understand these companies over complicated or just plain bad endings/final acts.

On a personal note The MASS EFFECT series was so revolutionary and unlike anything I had ever played or experienced in story telling media outside of STAR WARS, it was going to be my very last gaming experience (the very last video game I ever played) because I figured it would end with the most climatic epic end in video game history and no games out there have ever made me feel or will make me feel the way I did about this series but then we got.......well you know. Maybe I am sticking around in a desperate attempt to see if Bioware actually goes back and gives us that, which is unlikely at this point.

The remastered MASS EFFECT trilogy and DRAGON AGE INQUISITION 2 (which I am praying there is one with the same protagonist and companions from previous games love interests etc.) is the only reason I am sticking around at this point, the new MASS EFFECT I have no interest in personlly what so ever, when I saw the "finding a new home for humanity, in a totally different galaxy, build colonies, send out forces thing" I was already done with it, good luck with that, not falling for another hype train derailment I will just spare every one the troll posts and statements and get off now lol.

Sorry, the endings are Art.  And you do not mess with Art.  And if we don't like it, then we're just too dumb to appreciate it.

No it doesn't.

Not everyone who disliked the ending is a fan of MEHEM. I disliked the original endings, but think MEHEM is far worse. If this forum is anything to go by, that is also true of many other people.

There was very little that made sense with Mass Effect 3's endings.

One of my Sheps dies by TIM's hand.

Literally, once TIM shot Shepard, I went to the main-menu and never went back to that file again.

'Twas simply the cherry on top of a playthrough where everything went wrong. Not like a "fail import" where nobody survived ME2. Both ME1 and 2 were fine. ME3 was just Murphy's Law in full swing (it is good that most of the squad survived ME2, their deaths made this story truly effective).

Just in case this is a response to me, I didn't mean to suggest that you ought to like or even accept Bio's vision. Just that abandoning it wouldn't take "balls." Humility? Perhaps.
