After clearing out the main quest, I can no longer enter the keep to get the remaining codecs. I missed out on this quest for good? This should be patched so we can enter the place freely even after the main quest..

Is the only way to complete this by dealing with the deamon? Does the mage not know how to get to the hidden cache?
If you let him continue his studies does he unlock any additional blood magic talents for warriors?
