By the gods do my eyes deceive me? Did I just get cloth from a treasure room chest? I think I did!!! Me and some PUG members were clearing rooms when I opened the chest and saw something I never had before when I opened them, it appeared to be an alchemy potion image instead of a weapon. So I though nothing of it, opened the next room and received the same. So was curious to see what it was. Game ends and what do I receive, 6 SILK BROCADE!! WOW!! Wasn't expecting that.

 

It seems cloth is now being dropped from treasure room chests in groups of three, i.e receive 3 pieces of silk, plaidweave etc. Seems to are trying to fix the bottleneck. 

 

So start opening those treasure rooms!!!!

 

(Disclaimer, don't no if this is already common knowledge, just pumped for some free cloth)

Yeah, crafting materials can drop from chests now.

Also, purples seem to be dropping alot in chests.

Yep, loving it.  I don't think it is long term though (would be great if it were).

Bah! That sucks!  I had enough materials saved up to craft all of the new characters armors.  I don't like this at all.  Just taking away a useful potion or item.

There's a little inconsequential bug with the new little potion card that pops up in game. The dragon I guess counts as a chest, I was disappointed to see the potion card come up after the kill. At first I thought, "oh come on, now the dragon is dropping cloth I don't need? It ran out of lv1 staves?"

 

Turned out that item was a purple dragon bow in disguise. lol.

Same here, 3x cloth from a perilous dragon yesterday.

The drop rate seems to be quite high too, after just 2 matches I was able to get enough cloth to make the second armour for the Avvar (coloured for 78 armour rating)

I can confirm that the chests give three materials on routine.

Getting 3x royale sea silk from 5 consecutive perilous dragons yesterday!!
