Just wonder if there is a button that saves screenshots into the screenshot folder. I hit the 'prt scr" button and I get nothing. Thanks!

I am wondering the same thing too. Without resorting to FRAPS, what is the key(s) to take screenshots? I see two Screenshots folder in the Bioware\\Mass Effect 2 folder but how do you take screenshots?

They forgot that one. Nothing in the menus and there's no mention of screenshot in the .ini with all the other binds either. I think the command for UE3 games is "TakeScreenshot"

So yeah, gotta use fraps or something else for now until they patch further functionality in or someone finds away to insert a "TakeScreenshot" bind into the ini without crashing the game on load.

Hit printscreen then alt+tab and open a bitmap image (aka open windows paint) and paste it. Then saved it as .jpg or whatever suits you best.

But it is disturbing that you can't actually take screenshots in game like in ME1 :(

There was some talk about it in the past and one way to take the shots is by adding the key binding, like this for example:

( Name="NumPadFive", Command="Shot" )

You need to add it into Coalesced.ini of course, and don't start asking here how to do it, way too much explanation and there's plenty of topics about it anyway.

The issue with it is that it won't take any shots during dialogues and often some of the best shots do come from dialogues. I've seen though shots where people have made them during dialogues and I am wondering if there's another way of taking those shots or did they really use PrintScreen, assuming that would ever work. And I really doubt that suddenly all of those shots were made with Fraps or some other tool, they all seem to be taken directly from in-game like a "real" screenshot.

So, this is one of the ways but who knows, maybe there's also a better one, I sadly don't know it.
