Can't see the flaw in this logic. Big burly guy --> deep masculine voice.

 

Even Korbin, who is half the size of Amund, has a more masculine voice.

You forget that Korbin is just a concentrated ball of steel and glory.

unfortunantly Amund has less of that spread out across a larger space.

Now remember: Voice Equals total Mass (Which is body weight plus base equipment weight) to the power of Race times Concentration of Awesome divided by Skills to the Power of Weapon Type..

Now, you would think that, given the increased mass times race/sub-race of Amund (Avvar), that he would have a deeper and more Guttoral voice like the Avvar Chieftain did, or even the Single-Player version of Skywatcher¹. However, he has less 'awesome' concentrated across a larger spread of mass, which gives him a less overall 'awesome' faction than Korbin, not to mention that Korbin wears heavy metal plating and Amund. . . not so much.

Then take into account that, despite the fact that two handers may seem awesome, they are made less so awesome in the hands of Amund and the current balance rate of his skill trees which, especially in comparison to the other characters released in the Dragonslayer DLC, are not as glorious as you would hope them to be. This is in comparison to Korbin, who is a sword and shield wielder who, once when he was in the Deep Roads, held off a group of darkspawn for two days. This gives Korbin a slightly different formula:

I'm making this up as I go along: the point is Amund's voice doesn't fit.
