Soooo... you still sure you don't wanna give it a try? :P

Think every RPG fan should at least try it, i cant image watching something like this as a Lets play just cant believe how much content there is, 150 hours according to galaxy and not even done with Skellige and act 1 almost a month and half later, got this game free too

But Pause and/ or Tac-Cam are rather important due to my lack of reflexes and disabilities.

Fair enough, even though I'm playing TW3 on the easiest difficulty and if you combine signs with hits you can take out targets in one click. I think this happens in higher difficulties as well.

but we're really comparing games of different flavours here. Just because they both have medieval stuff and are open worldish doesn't mean they can be compared or can ever replicate each other. DA:I is more like ME and young adult fiction whereas TW3 is more Skyrimmy and like a bottle of bourbon and a medium rare steak. You get me? You get me.

Hmm that's funny, I actually think DAI has more in common with Skyrim than TW3 has. Yes, TW3 has a open world and so does DAI, but DAI is focused on exploration for the sake of exploration just like Skyrim, and from what I've seen for far, at least in TW3 the main quests happen in the worlds, so if you have to explore them in order to complete them. And the way DAI approaches dialogue with NPCs and quest givers is also very Skyrim like. TW3 and DAI are both action RPGs with open world, so in my eyes they are pretty similar. The only difference is that DAI is more based on tactical combat and it has the companion system, but it's the same genre. And even the tactical combat, in TW3 you have to use strategy too, study a monster before facing it and making the right potions. If you want you can go ahead and hack and slash your way through a fight but it does not always work because you'll just get hit again and again if you don't dodge, parry or use the right signs. A different kind of tactical but still tactical.

lol Good point, but Skyrim is a game focused on exploration. What I meant was, DAI with the huge worlds that are there just for the sake of exploration and the way it approaches NPCs is more like Skyrim than TW3.

I've decided to horrifying or borify you with news about what is in skyrim.

Imagine a skyrim that has been anime converted?

I'll post a spoiler picture link later. You will cringe or face palm, possibly even chuckle, most likely will not laugh.

I painfully say yes to more anime in European rpgs. The corruption of rpgs shall begin.

I dont know. I don't see anything I'm particularly interested with on E3. So when I've overplayed ME series to death, I've got nothing else in line until ME4 next year. Looooong wait. We will see when I finally get my new rig IF ever I will get it. They screwed up my ordered spec too many times and not bf's and we ordered it at the same time and he got his a month ago. The sexist turds!

So yeah I might try it because of a long drought ( or however that's spelled) and who knows, I might end up loving it like ME.

It's been a while since The Witcher 3 came out, I'm still enjoying it.

But if there's one thing that CDPR deserve the most praise for, it's their continued support for the game, and their pro-consumer attitude.

Patches come one after the other - TW3 is already at version 1.06 - not long after release, and the promised DLC packs are coming out all the time - for free! Those DLC are not mere re-skins either, but rather new armor and weapon models, quests, etc.

Compare that to the last DA:I DLC - a few re-skins of gear and a mount for 4.99 Euro. (horse armor anyone?)

Because according to EA if you can suck your gullible fanboyz dry, than why not do it?

So yeah, even if TW3 was the inferior game compared to DA:I, I would still support it more because CDPR is more pro consumer.

Luckily, I enjoyed TW3 much more than DA:I, so I can support CDPR not only on their "good behavior" but for the high quality of their products.

Cdpr seems to be much more reactive and interactive with their fans.. Something I highly value considered. Their patches are frequent and they listened to people's concerns with inventory by planning to add in a storage crate.

I would really like more interactions with devs or an acknowledgement from bioware. With EA I don't know if that's going to ever happen.

Elaborate, please.

Not that I think you have anything worthwhile to say. It just that whenever you open your mouth I have the pleasure of spotting another logical fallacy. Dish of the day: ad hominem.

Tssk...even though the herbalist quest is emotionally stirring, and even though some players like to brag of how little they care for the poor woman in respiratory distress in the crossroads, and how little they care for the man and his sons thank you because of lacking in close-ups, fine I can give that. BUT the whole game? I would say you really have to play DAI with your eyes wide shut to miss all the emotional content that is in the game.

Emprise du lion was a counter point I offered to the ranting man's video claiming there's nothing to care about 8) there were things to care about. I cared about Dorian and I'm not interested in him as an Li. I like Cole!

I wish they had more Emprise du lion stuff. I would have liked more Crestwood too. Storm coast was pretty at least..

If I would like to horrify myself about what's in Skyrim, I just need to go on Skyrim Nexus.... maybe to expose myself to My Little Pony mounts or whatever other monstrously voluptuous body (and matching steel thongs!) mod has been posted there :P

So basically JRPG? Nothing wrong with broody depressed anti hero and sexy villain who burned your house down and killed your girl.

I get what you mean but I meant more in terms of mood and tone. TW3 is a much more adult/grown up game than DA:I which is a little more light hearted. They feel very different even if they do have similar play styles. But that would be like comparing Skyrim and Fallout. I consider gameplay to be the most important part of a game but what makes games comparable is how they present themselves. DA:I and TW3 are not similar in this respect and they both aim to please in differing ways: in mood, tone, focus, dialogue etc which are those things which are entirely subjective.

@GGGenesis, yes, the standard JRPG plot is always delicious. "Hi, here to kill you or whatever.. What was that? This isn't even my real form."

Yes Dorian is a roller-coaster ride and EDL is really disgusting in many ways. The Storm coast is mostly there for that first warden lead. If you go there after Skyhold it sort of loses its purpose.

Well no - after Skyhold there's an opportunity to ride and close the Red Lyrium mine/testing facility - there are even people turned to stone there; failed RL early stage test-subjects.

Might have missed a few other DAI DLC, including The Black Emporium which is free; in case one did not mean to intentionally compare an item mod to content. And like sidequests, I choose which to purchase and install; none of it is mandatory.

"Btw, I have a troubled past and no parents so like yeah. I have reasons. Also all my friends are dead. Except the gay one, but we don't talk about him. Taste my blade. Insert monologue on taking over the world because it sux. Blah blah blah." And the sad thing is, it's not just FF7 with this formula...(even though I love that stupid game to pieces)

Taking over the world? Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Japanese Villain mantra usually "I want to destroy the world to save it!"???

Well you have to conquer it first, sheesh! You can't destroy a planet over night. What kind of villains do you think we Japanese create?! Lazy, impatient villains?! We have more than just Gojira you know!!1!!1

Yup - if you explore it fully you'll find a chamber or two where you'll see what looks like human sculptures - next thing you realize is that they're people who had to rapidly turn to stone. One of them was even in the middle of reading a book.... another was in the middle of eating cheese.

Speaking of cheese... what is with RPG creators and CHEESE? There's like - this strange obsession with it. In DAI we can find a cheese shield (among other things), while in TW3 there's an entire cheese labyrinth and a sword we find at the end of it, which Geralt calls The Emmentaler >_>'''

(In TES we have - one and only <3 - Sheogorath who wants to offer cheese to everyone).

... I think at this point I'll take Gojira over yet another 'conquer-and-destroy-to-save' villain ^^;
