So spending 2 hours mining for one silverite fade touched is okay for you, I get that

But your looking for fade touched for a few pieces of armor, for one character, it could take 6-8 hours

This is just an observation, you aren't doing anything but reloading the same area over and over to find that one piece of material

now comes the criticism, "Wouldn't you rather materials be obtained for everyone while you adventure and quest?" I don't understand how standing in a mirror complaining at myself about bioware's mechanic is going to get my claim heard.

If you are still on about keeping the game just the way it is for your purposes, fine, I thought you were all about game mechanics being 'inclusive' for all?

I do not farm for crafting; seem to keep missing that. As I gather materials, when I have come to a point where I required crafted arms and armor, I had what was needed. I have also ended both campaigns with plenty of gold going into purchasing desired gear in JoH.

If one desired to grind, farm, etc, then that is on them. Would prefer to use a mod, console command, or like fix myself, but perhaps that is only me.

Probably best to implement the ignore function for him, Ogre. He is an attention addict and we have fed his high enough.

I haven't clicked "View it anyway" for the last one. His responses are generally the same, "Don't like it? Don't complain about it, but I can complain about witcher's features that are suggested"

So much time spent monitoring my behavior by so many; perhaps a side effect of all that grinding spent in game unnecessarily. That, and looking up all those .gifs; prefer to actually play the games myself.

Griffons might be nice to see once again.

Just discovered another little gem. I was in (I think) Lindenvale and this old man had a couple of kids sitting around him and he was telling them a spooky story, at the end he yells "Boo!" and the kids screamed. I love little details like that. It really fleshes things out. I am on my second playthrough and I thought I was really thorough in my first round, but I am constantly finding new things I didn't catch on the first trip to wonderland.

It's really not hard to see and remember your post when it's the same sarcasm fiesta in each of them. If not those, then telling tall tales about what DAI got the same as W3 like those new buildings you mentioned. Woot.

And yes I also prefer to craft nice gear for my companions, although not all, just Blackwall, Dorian, Bull and Cole because they're the ones I take almost everywhere. Even that is almost impossible without back breaking grinding. Don't get me started about the schematics. If I buy one at BE, there goes half of my money.

I broke my 'no more pre-ordering games' policy and got the Season Pass. I like that I know I'm buying 2 expansions, about when they will come out and about how long they will take time wise, today.

I'm not sure why BioWare got in the habit of saying 'Buy our new DLC! It's out in 8 hours!' type of marketing. It's pretty strange that they work on DLC projects no one can know about until just before you can buy it. Also BioWare way overestimates the time it takes to do their DLC's. I remember Omega being advertised as 6 hours and I finished it in 3 easily doing everything and not skipping any cut scene and exploring everything for more loot.

Perhaps, but have also read that some schematics are discounted a great deal from other merchants. Still, have had plenty of gold in both Vanilla campaigns to purchase desired items.

I ordered the seasons pass. God knows why as I've never played the game before and I dont even know if I will like it. Oh well, if I do like it then it's 600 NOK well spent.

I've done that before with Borderlands. Didn't even play the game yet and my friends talked me into getting it and saw some DLC on sale and figured 'why not?'. Here is hoping you end up loving the game and the DLC! Which version did you get?

I preordered the game and bought the season pass. If those expansions are as detailed and well written like the game, then it's money well spent. The fact that they come out so late makes me assume they're putting a lot of work into them. So excited!

@Xetykins

Be sure to download all your free dlc when you play. I have enjoyed every single one of them and that wolf gear is just delicious.

It was the game+the 2 dlc one. It was heavy on the wallet but still half the price of what I paid for DAI which was 1100 NOK (130usd) over all cuz I cant stand pc controls so I had to buy ps4 version too which is a BIG minus against DAI in my book. So much for making games for pc.

I would recommend any frined to pre order games from CDPR, since they are constantly patching and upgrading their games (I love their EE of TW1and 2) and the quality of TW3 speaks for itself. Can't wait to sink another 200-250 hours in hardest difficulty when those 2 expansion packs gone gold. P.S. patch 1.07 will come out soon and the New game plus model is about to come as well. :)

I really should stop watching W3 related but I can't help it.

Very nice and bittersweet scene of them just sitting thete on the boat. Poor Yen :-( What I wouldn't give to have this scene when Alistair dumped me.

New game plus? Are you serious? Is this a rumor or have they verified it? I love NG+!

NG+!?

I'd really want that for DA4, if the companions that you pick up along the way keep their armor with them going into the new game. When you recruit them, they have their ending armor.

Happy smiles.

There many new item added in patch 1.06 as NGP_wolven armor etc.

So the question is more like 'when' will CDPR release it really.

They got to add more content in expansion packs for Yenna and Ciri, they are so amazing together.

'

“Ciri,” the witcher said, rubbing his eyes.
“Ciri,” Yennefer said, supported by the witcher.
“Geralt,” Ciri said.
“Ciri,” he answered, with a lump in his throat. “I’m glad to see you again.”
“Lady Yennefer.”
The sorceress released herself from the witcher’s arms and straightened with a tremendous effort.
“What a sight you are, girl,” she said sternly. “Look at yourself and how you look. Fix your hair! Don’t slouch. Come to me.”
Ciri walked, stiffly over to Yennefer. Yennefer smoothed her collar and tried to wipe the dried blood from her sleeve. She fixed her hair, revealing the scar on her cheek. She hugged her tightly. Very tightly. Geralt saw the sorceress’s hands on Ciri’s back. He saw the deformed fingers. He did not feel anger, grief or hatred. He felt only fatigue. And a great desire to be done with it all.
“Mummy.”
“My daughter.” '

Finished my first playthrough last night after ~200 hours. I don't usually say this but this is quite possibly the best game I've ever played.

I don't know if NG+ has been confirmed now, has it? People have been asking for it but CDPR has yet to say anything official on the issue.

So it is only a matter of time.

And the 15-16 DLC one of them will be wild hunt armor or dark armor set, which has place holder in game as well.

Off topic.

Something just occured to me and I got a probably silly question but I got to ask. Most bioware games is subjected to this most annoying drm. Will this be the same if you ordered tw3 from origin too? If this is the case I wonder if I should cancel it from there and buy it elsewhere before it gets credited after download.

The Witcher 3 has no DRM, so you don't have to worry about it. If you want, you can buy it from GOG to support CDPR directly.

I have bought it on Origins. No DRM.

Wait.. is this legit? How do you get the Legendary variant of the Wolven set? I wasn't aware of this nor have I seen it mentioned anywhere.

Also, I've seen a Lvl 44 sword in my game but I always assumed it was meant for the upcoming expansions. Never occurred to me that it was for NG+.
